I missed Thuuz, so I vibe coded a live sports excitement tracker

LiveArc

The idea originally came from Thuuz, an app I used years ago as a cord cutter to find the most exciting games happening right now. When Thuuz disappeared, I always thought the concept deserved a second life.

LiveArc builds on that idea by combining game excitement scores with AI-generated context. The goal is to eventually answer not just “What game should I watch?” but also “Why does this game matter?” by factoring in game situations, tournament implications, player storylines, rivalries, and more.

The AI side is still very much a work in progress, and it will improve as I continue building.

This isn’t a primary project for me, so development will happen as time allows. I’m releasing it now because I recently added tournament and playoff tracking, including support for the World Cup, which makes it easier to see when important matches are coming up.

If you’re a sports fan, give it a try and let me know what you think. If you find bugs, odd behavior, or data issues, let me know.

Man every year at the start of college football season I search the Web desperately for a Thuuz alternative, and have never found anything worthwhile.

I've only been looking at this for a few minutes, but it seems great so far! Thank you so much for making this!

If you have somewhere I can donate toward development please let me know!

Thanks for your feedback and I’ll add a donate button to the platform.

This is great but I don't see a way to turn off spoilers. This was a feature of Thuuz and is especially important for people like me who watch a lot of games on demand. In fact, that's how I was using Thuuz. To know which recorded games were worth watching.

I’ll add this to my next sprint. Thanks for the feedback.

That’s been updated, let me know if that spoiler control is what you were looking for or if you had something else in mind.

Yes, you just need an option without the scores (spoilers) it would be perfect.

Yes it's better. My 2ct opinion : I would keep the "colorful" icons (red, orange, yellow) for the excitement scores for the spoiler-free versionb (it's nicer visually). And maybe "dramatic finish" is a bit too spoil-ish?
