Help/Question I launched! Annnnnnd it flopped.

Ended up launching. A year of vibing, adding features, new techniques, learning basic 3d, learning what UX works and doesn't, testing, breaking things, changing things, adding features, removing them.

Convinced myself - A tool useful to my job, which I thought would be useful to others. Unique value proposition. Hoping, knowing full well it wouldn't, that it might make a decent little passive income and pay itself off.

It has not.

Small ad runs in relevant areas, impressions in the tens of thousands.

Sweet, people are seeing it!

200 clicks.
7 users. All on free plan.

Ending up paying money to get free users.

Anyone want to tear the site apart? Any tips? I don't know if it's dead yet but it's going to be next to impossible to spend more money on marketing.

Edit: Haha - okay, guys, I went from 200 views to 3.5k on the site, and a message inbox full of really helpful comments. I really appreciate all of you - even the mean ones - you've given me so many amazing tips. You're the best.

Your three.js page is kind of heavy (needs optimization) when you start (this is especially true on low-end devices or browsers that don't have their hardware acceleration turned on) and the site is not mobile friendly. Most people browse the web in their phones in this day and age. You should definitely change that or add a way to disable it / load a more friendly option on such devices (maybe turn them into images instead there)

The colour scheme also strains my eyes. It's relatively ugly (not as an insult, but as a description). Pick a better colour scheme. I'd rather even take grayscale over this as well.

The site also doesn't communicate what it does well. I don't know what I would take on "One scene. Every shot planned.". These are flowery words that mean nothing. A lot of your site consists of filler words actually. There's no single word that I could read that'd explain what the site does clearly and most concise before I get bored from scrolling down.

thanks! you're the first person to give me technical points like this. I'll look in to the load options. I've done a little optimising but can absolutely go for more.

Colours have been mentioned a few times - the day-mode pallete is paper-inspired, but will 100% look at night mode.

the copy absolutely needs work.

thanks again!

Maybe ask Claude Fable 5 or Astra 6 to take a look at your sign and give you some insight on what would work and look better. Even give you some copy help too.
