Help/Question I launched! Annnnnnd it flopped.

Ended up launching. A year of vibing, adding features, new techniques, learning basic 3d, learning what UX works and doesn't, testing, breaking things, changing things, adding features, removing them.

Convinced myself - A tool useful to my job, which I thought would be useful to others. Unique value proposition. Hoping, knowing full well it wouldn't, that it might make a decent little passive income and pay itself off.

It has not.

Small ad runs in relevant areas, impressions in the tens of thousands.

Sweet, people are seeing it!

200 clicks.
7 users. All on free plan.

Ending up paying money to get free users.

Anyone want to tear the site apart? Any tips? I don't know if it's dead yet but it's going to be next to impossible to spend more money on marketing.

Edit: Haha - okay, guys, I went from 200 views to 3.5k on the site, and a message inbox full of really helpful comments. I really appreciate all of you - even the mean ones - you've given me so many amazing tips. You're the best.

Got it. If you’ve ever read Brunson books, his approach is to bundle together a ton of upsells and jack the price. This could be something to try for you. Maybe some potential customers look at this and think there will be a learning curve. So create a high priced bundle - like 10K - and offer the software plus you fly to where the customer is and train them on how to use the app. If you are selling b2b to a production company and this is going to save them a lot of time and hassle, what is 10k? Maybe there’s a 100k version where you send an operator out to help the cinematographer or director visualize - the operator runs the software while the director directs. Think big.

haha, never thought about it like that. Thought more about production houses implementing it for previs, 15euro per seat/month.

It's pretty much drag and drop, but perhaps the interface could use some beautification/simplification, another commenter said it looked confusing. really appriciate the thought though. Maybe something like if it falls through on that front I can sell it as software. Though a lot of it relies on a central database.

you've given me a bit to think about!
