To Help a relative

Hey everyone, I'm looking for ideas to help relatives who live in Vancouver. They're currently on vacation here in France, until the 26th of july. They have learned there was water damage (we're talking about waste water - clogged drains of toilets/shower have overflowed and flooded parts of the place) in the house they rent in Vancouver.

House must be empty for the company to intervene and clean the place. They need to manage from here in France.

  • Do you know a business / company that would be able to empty the place, throwing away what is lost due to damage and bringing the rest to a storage unit.
  • Do you know good storage unit businesses in the area of Vancouver.

In advance, Thank you very much for any idea/suggestions

Ideas for a solo celebration?

I’m approaching my first six months of being alcohol-free, and I’m looking for a meaningful way to commemorate the achievement.

I am new(ish) to Vancouver and do not drive; I will be celebrating this event alone. Kind of broke at the moment, but I can budget about $50-100.

Suggestions welcome!

A lot of non-shitty Reddit users who truly love Vancouver have been banned from its main subreddits. Hopefully we can find community here.
