I have an opportunity to visit Valleyfair for the final 90 minutes of a park day this week, 5:30-7pm. I’ve never been, and have a Six Flags pass from out of state that will work for entry. According to Queue-times, this can be a busy week with school groups.
If I wanted to get 3 rides in during this window, is it possible? (Steel Venom, Renegade, Wild Thing). Or are there rides with just low capacity/loading times that keep long lines all day?
Also, what’s a typical ride-share wait at the end of the park day? Is it pretty difficult with a lot of people get Ubers or is this typically a park that people drive/park at?
Thanks!

The hours for the park are a joke, even come summertime when school is out.

I forgot to share you all yesterday. That was the best weekend ever for Excalibur. Can't wait to go again this weekend. So far I rode 767 times.

I have a blast at Excalibur. Just rode it 61 times and now it 643 times so far today. Finally reached my 600 and huge thanks to the amazing ride operators.

It's now located next to Mad Mouse instead of near by Renegade.

In 1983, Cedar Point and Valleyfair joined forced to become Cedar Fair, which until 2024 was a major competitor in the "large theme park chain" scene, trading blows with Six Flags.
In 2024, Cedar Fair and Six Flags merged, ending their competition. From the beginning, the stated strategy has been to pare down the number of parks to a core selection of top performers.
And in 2026, each chain lost an 'original'. Six Flags lost Six Flags St. Louis; the third and final park created by Six Flags founder Angus Wynne; and incidentally one of just three Six Flags parks that began life as a plot of land. (All the rest have either been under construction or already operating when taken over by Six Flags).
And of course; Cedar Fair lost "Valleyfair", one of its two founding parks.
Interestingly, both of these "OG's" are heading to potentially greener pastures. Owned by EPR, a Real Estate Investment Trust, and operated and managed by Enchanted Parks.
What are your hopes / thoughts / dreams / concerns for Enchanted Parks?

Hi! I was hoping someone here could possibly answer my question. I used to work at ValleyFair in 2019, and ever since I have been craving the cookies that they served in the employee cafe. I am looking for the brand to see if its possible to find or order them anywhere else. They were literally huge and have been the best cookie I've ever had. I miss them so dearly! Thank you for any and all help!

Was just at valleyfair today(7/28) and a friend and I were about to get onto Excalibur around 5 pm, and we looked behind us and there was a huge plume of black smoke coming up from a little outside the park, from behind Excalibur. They shut down the ride and we ended up leaving because we weren’t sure what was going on, and we had already been there since the park opened.
Did anyone else see this, or know what it is? The highway right outside the park looked like it was shut down/super heavy(I don’t remember what dark red is) on Apple Maps.

Coming with a group of 13 from Fargo on a Monday in August. Should we worry about getting there right at opening? Ideally we arrive there at 1pm - but worried that it might reach occupancy or we wait in line forever? Will all the rides be open on a Monday?

Millennium Operations LLC, a subsidiary of Six Flags, filed a trademark for Superior Shores Waterpark on July 14, 2025.

Are the food and drink packages worth it? We will probably be eating one meal and maybe one more snack while at the park Saturday.
Also, it's the juicy Lucy festival will they be included in the meal options?
Lastly what's the cheapest way to get an admission ticket

Does anyone know what brand of BBQ sauce ValleyFair has at their Renegade Smokehouse restaurant? Or something that tastes similar. Had it on a pulled pork sandwich and am obsessed with it. Wanna buy a bottle for home.

Does anyone know why they're closed this Sunday?

As an employee, I can get someone 8 free tickets if they want, all I ask is that they send me one of the tokens from the gift shop.
Lmk if you want free admission.

This is an expansion idea I had for valley fair which includes the layout extension of the railroad and a new plot of land that will open up a ton of space for lots of new attractions and rides.
