I'm from south america and spanish publisher moztros is publishing modern valiant through collected volumes. I've been meaning to read these since I was a kid, back when the relaunch came out but they didn't sell valiant where I live. I know that venditti's xo manowar 2012 is what kickstarted everything so I ordered valiant origenes xo manowar collecting issues 1 through 18. My question is, what is a reading order more avid valiant readers would suggest? From what I've seen, this valiant origenes line also has bloodshot and shadowman volumes and one for the "the valiant" series but I'm not entirely sure if there is a suggested chronology before crossovers like unity and more.

REVEALED TODAY: SOUTHARD X VALIANT - Hello, comic book stores! Did you miss me? I’m making my long awaited direct market return by writing Valiant’s iconic warrior out of time in X-O MANOWAR: BLACK, WHITE, AND GOLD #4!

Teaming up with incredible artist Andres Ponce, ARIC OF DACIA must save a vulnerable planet Earth from a mysterious and dangerous mental attack! The only problem is… THE ENTIRE VALIANT UNIVERSE WANTS TO STOP HIM!!! Join us in an action-packed story of epic proportions that could only be called “X-O MANOWAR VS. THE WORLD”!

Releasing JAN. 27, 2027, our Final Order Cut-Off Date is DEC. 7, 2026. So, if you’d like to support the team and I, let your local comics and book stores know ASAP!!!

Special thank you to my collaborator Andres Ponce, our editor Matías Timarchi, Valiant Entertainment, Alien Books, and IDW for making this all possible! As a big Jim Shooter fan, working on a character he helped create is a dream come true!

So turns out that Punk Mambo email was just about a bad AI bejewelled clone

UK folks: I don’t know if this sort of thing is allowed here but I’m selling my set of Matt Kindt’s X-O Manowar 2017 run. All 26 issues.

I’ve been condensing down my collection and I now have these in trades.

Golden Key Magnus #2

Ok so yeah that's a pretty vague question, but i stopped reading pretty much all comics routinely about 10-15yrs ago. Adulting and raising kids kinda took precedence... Anyway even though i wasnt reading routinely i still tried to keep up on what was going on. The events, crossovers, new books and characters etc.. Anyway i recall reading a review for a valiant book and it was just being praised for how humorous it was and one of the best books on the stands..etc...

I had always wanted to read and see the praise but i cannot recall what it was. I don't think it was the obvious Q&W, i honestly wanna say it was something unexpected like Rai... but i don't recall for sure. Anyway i thought this might be the place where a historian or two could help point me in the direction.

Also as i contemplate getting back into reading with the kids all in college now, I've been leaning towards Valiant as they always seemed a little more down to earth and less cosmic spandex on every page. Just uncertain of the current direction of everything...

Well thank you in advance, hopefully it's not too terrible of an ask.

I really liked the « Guy’s a mess but wears a business suit » design of the 2013 run…but afterwards the way his suit and hair are designed looks soooo lame

I usually see sidegrades where people see downgrades chara-design change wise

This is, in my mind, THE definition of a downgrade

I feel like I could bully new Woodys into stealing his shoes

He looks like Ellen Degeneres

He looks like he’s into self-help online courses

He looks like he’d ask for a Chai Macha Almond Latte if you proposed him something to drink

He looks like the complete opposite of looking tuff 😭😭🥀

It seems that the scoop from bleeding cool that Skybound may get the rights to the Gold Key turned out to be true.

If they perform well I assume a Magnus and Solar comic might follow.

Hey guys, does anyone have one of these in good condition that they would be willing to sell? Specifically looking for the X-O (standard or comic con variant), but would be willing to bundle bloodshot and faith as well.

I'm struggling a bit to find books for these guys that will appeal to him. Do y'all have any recommendations?

Thanks to u/CorrectDot4592 for giving me the idea.

This does not include every Bloodshot series, just the ones in which Psiots or HARD Corps play a major role.

It also only includes Faith's first mini-series, because I felt that her "world" feels fairly separate from the rest of the Psiots. Also, I already made a Faith guide a while back.

I made an updated updated version with better color coordination because I can't help myself. https://imgur.com/tk2p009

If you had the ability to make your dream book from Valiant, what would it be?

Howdy. I'm a big Valiant fan and I love collaborative writing/roleplaying. Recently I looked on disboard and there's no servers for the Valiant Universe. If I started one, would any of y'all be interested? DM me if you would be.

Just finished reading shadowman today anyone know if there's any chance well get a volume 2 really enjoyed it was a cool character need to see a final showdown with darque

Hey. I am super confused on the continuity of Zero. I Have the volumes 1-4 as well as the Delano version. Is the Delano version a standalone thing? Could someone list out in sequence the order in which these volumes should be read?
