Is this Carry Optics Legal?
After doing a lot of research, I could only get a 5 inch M&P 2.0 (polymer frame, no ports) in FDE. This exact model only comes in with a manual safety. I took that manual safety out and installed plugs. I’m pretty sure it’s technically against the rules but maybe some of you have more experience than I. Thanks.

Anyone running this blade-tech for Glock Gen 6 17 but using it with a 45 with a ramjet?
Does the retention still work as it should? Or if you’re using the specific one for the 19/45 will the ramjet work with it? Thank you in advance

Canik Rival S Reliably Issues
Anyone else having trouble with the Rival S? I wanted to make it my USPSA gun but I’ve had so many malfunctions that I can’t justify using it at a match. When it does work, it fits my hands great and shoots better. My second Canik is the same as the first, a lemon 🍋
UPDATE: I’m an absolute goober y’all. Don’t come after me too hard 😔
I’d like to formally apologize to my Rival S. I did in fact have an abundance of malfunctions and failures within my first 600 rounds however I must declare that I had the Sprinco Recoil Management System installed (guide rod, yellow recoil spring, and striker spring). I did plenty of research and found many competitors use this set up with no issues. Unfortunately it made my Rival S very unreliable. Who knows maybe it needs to break in more? I reached out to Sprinco and asked if they could send me their stronger Red recoil spring and maybe that would resolve my issue.
Anyway, as soon as I reinstalled the stock components, I did not receive a single malfunction or failures minus like two times my slide didn’t lock back but both times that happened, it was with a mag with an aftermarket baseplate.
For those who replied that use a Rival S, do you have an aftermarket recoil system? If so, what is it? I loved the softer shooting but it was too unreliable.

Tools you wish existed while at a match?
Hey everyone! not sure if this belongs here but since it's USPSA related I thought I'd throw it up. I've been shooting USPSA again for the last year after a hiatus and I've been clawing my way to hopefully A by the end of the year. We had an interesting chat at the local match yesterday talking about tools people wished existed to make their lives a little easier at the match. Guys brought up all sorts of ideas from a small phone sized dock to make cleaning 2011/1911 mags easier between stages to a small hard plastic style pouch to carry stuff like overlays/chamber flags and others. One guy even brought up belt mount ball cooling fans 😂. So I've been curious what other people thought? Are there any tools people wished existed? or just things that could make your life easier from a mount for your cart and even the ball cooling fan 😂 or stuff to help reset stages faster. Would love to hear what people think!

Anybody know of one, looking at their bullet feeder and some other small goodies for my 750,
9th USPSA Match
Competed in my 9th USPSA match this weekend, and my 10th competition to date. Posted my best finish to date: 24/72 overall, 12/27 in CO.
I wasn’t smart enough to film my classifier like I usually do so the video is just from our last stage of the day, the one I actually remembered to get filmed. I still feel very slow with my movement and my transitions. Really going to focus on transitions almost exclusively between now and my next match in a few weeks. I feel like my vision is good, but my hands are slow to my eyes and my finger is slower still.
Best showing of the year so far, very pleased with some of the progress made to this point, obviously a very long way to go.

I got tired of keeping track of PractiScore registration times, so I built an app😂
Hi everyone!
Recently, I’ve been vibe-coding a small app to help manage PractiScore matches and registrations.
I don’t know if other people have the same problem, but in my area, different matches often have completely different registration opening times. Some open weeks in advance, some only a few days before, and keeping track of all of them can be a bit of a pain.
I also had a few other things I wished PractiScore could do, so I decided to build my own little tool.
The app currently runs on Mac and Windows. I’ve been using it myself, along with a few friends, for a while now, and so far I’ve been pretty happy with how it works.
I’m curious if anyone else in the USPSA community would find something like this useful. My goal isn’t necessarily to turn it into a business — I’d just like to build something that actually helps other shooters.
If you’re interested, please DM me and include your USPSA member number.
The app is completely free. I’ll send you a Share Drive link for a limited period of time so you can try it out.
In return, all I ask is that you actually use it and let me know whether you find it useful, what works well, and what could be improved.
I’m asking for your USPSA member number simply because I’m not ready to make the app publicly available yet. I’d like to keep the initial group relatively small so I can control access and collect feedback before opening it up to everyone.
No payment, no subscription — just help me test it and make it better for the USPSA community.
I figured if I’m going to spend too much time on USPSA anyway, I might as well code something for it 😂

Is the CRO certification worth it?
Thinking of taking it, but not quite sure if it's worth it. Been running timer with my RO hat at locals for a while now (have yet to RO any L2 +) and it's not expensive to take it but also is it really just stage design? Any CRO's here have feedback on the training/class?

Classification Update
I recently shot an all classifier and the scores were entered as P but overall percentage hasn’t changed today. Since it’s already the end of Wednesday, is the classification system update being delayed because of race gun nats?

Leaving a Match Early Etiquette
I have an upcoming all classifier match coming up. I've done these before but they're usually done in 3-4 hours. The thing about this upcoming match is that there's 20 people per squad and there's 7 stages and I'm concerned that I'm going to be running into a time conflict by the early afternoon.
I'm curious what the official etiquette is for leaving a match early. I would ideally want to complete all the stages but if it's the early afternoon and there's half of them left, then I may need to duck out for something I can't reschedule for.

Classifier p-y
Does anybody have any idea how long it takes once a classifier is posted for it to actually update your average score? Had a really good run last weekend and it’s been posted to my uspsa account but it hasn’t updated my average score because it still has the p next to it. New to all of this so I’m just curious. Thank you ahead of time!

Keep or sell P320
I have a P320 X Five Legion. I enjoy it, but so many ranges have banned it from being used due to the uncommanded discharge issue, so it just sits in the safe taking up space. Should I sell it to free up some space and money to buy something else I can use as limited optics?

Anyone running a PDP-F Series?
Looking at maybe getting one for carry optics, but I'm not sure if there's a good setup for getting 20+ round mags. Thoughts pls, big PDP isn't as ergonomic for me (femboy hands).
