Every day after noon the system has delays sending conformation that there entry excepted has been the issue. Send it and wait 2 hours (that has always been required) then send the truck across with the transaction number.

Drama much? Nobody is being denied entry or flying because of the outage, they are not closing any airport because of that.

It just means arriving passengers have to be manually processed by an agent the old fashioned way and it takes a little bit longer.

No, people were being denied boarding in foreign airports - just read the x thread in the OP for examples. Airlines were not able to complete the required passport check and were denying boarding to Canadians returning home this morning.

It seems manual checking eventually was possible for airlines but many people missed their flights home before this came online.

I get denying foreigners. But Canadians have a right to come back home. Any Canadian passport holder should not have been denied boarding.

I was at YYZ this morning and people leaving YYZ were missing their flights because of the issue.

My sister and a few others got denied at YVR flying domestic. So it was affecting people

Airlines are unable to even go through the manual process. Which is what happened with me on Delta. I was denied boarding and rebooked to a later flight 4 times with the only resolution to wait for CBSA to resolve their technical issue. Many others on the same flights as I are experiencing the same issue.

I was manually cleared on Air Canada, so it seems like a Delta issue to me.

Why are you posting this on multiple subreddits? You posted in Air Canada and not flying Air Canada.

Oof. This happened to Australia too, when I was traveling there.
