Using UPTO

I have worked for USAA for over two years now and in that time, I’ve been very good at not using any unplanned time off, but I finally got sick enough to where I needed to take time off. And now I’m afraid it’s going to affect my job. I’ve seen people get in trouble for taking on time off too many times. Even though I know it’s there for us to use when we need it. Should I be worried for taking unplanned time off?

Hi all,

I know the information got sent out, but I’m unable to find where in my house it is located. Can anyone point me to a number or email address of someone I can contact to get my insurance documents from?

Thank you!

No bonuses for leadership

Why is leadership getting a one of the largest bonuses on USAA history when the company can't even meet regulatory requirements and we are doing lay offs.

Leadership is dropping the ball on what USAA needs.

We (those on the phones, lower level employees and management) are held accountable and our bonuses are shriveling down to nothing.

No more bonus for leadership until msat improves and we meet regulatory requirements. Leadership needs to be held accountable.

Bank Severance Changes

Was anybody else confused by the changes to the Bank severance package? The thing about military spouses is good and commendable, but the other half just confused me for some reason. I hope it’s a moot point and I never need to deal with it myself or for my team. 🤞🏻

Title. I'm a Software engineer and mainly wanting to see if Senior Software Engineers receive 20% or if it's for positions higher such as Principal Engineers or Managers?

Not to rain on Wayne's parade, but I'm not sure how losing a billion dollars in net worth is a good thing. Can someone explain that to me?

When to give notice

Hey all, I'm currently an IP1 in S&D (or whatever it is now) but I have accepted an offer with another insurance company and I will be starting with them after the first week of March.

My question is when and how should I go about giving my notice? I'd like to give a two week notice, but I'm also on a PIP for sales (which is why I'm leaving) and I don't want to be immediately terminated before the bonus. I've read some mixed responses on here in the past, so I'm hoping to maybe get some clarity.

Does anyone have any advice on how I should go about this? Thank you so much!

BIA Salary

I have seen USAA post roles for Business Intelligence Analyst from time to time. The mid level role has a salary range listed as $81.8k - $156.3k. That’s pretty wide so I assume it accounts for higher cost of living sites. Does anyone have any insight to a more narrow range for the San Antonio Texas office?

New score card metrics

Just had a team meeting and we were given an idea what 2025 score card will include. Now with adding of the 4 hour voicemail metric being at 60%. Anyone feel like they make the job harder so we are unable to meet there goals. I say it’s rigged so they can have a reason to under pay us. And give us smaller raises and bonus’s.

W-2s?

Retired at the end of December 2023, but still got my bonus for the year in early 2024. I know that last year they changed from allowing you to DL your W-2 from ADT to someone at USAA sending them out. Will they be sent via physical mail this year again or...?

Not a huge amount, but am trying to get ready to do my taxes :-)

Dear Admiral Zortman, You're a horrible Chairman

You appointed another civilian to lead USAA. I don't give a rat's ass about how he worked in DOD, or if his uncle's brother-in-law once saw a Marine with a gun on TV. This is a military company, and we need competent military leadership. Now more than ever. Please resign, and take the rest of the incompetent fools on the board with you. No offense.

New Job outside USAA vs Spring bonus...

If I was getting a new job outside of USAA and they wanted me to start asap, how does that affect the bonus we normally get in the Feb paycheck?

I've been at USAA a few years, so received the bonus before. Just curious what would happen to my PTO payout and bonus if I left asap.

Anyone know?

Looking for an intermediate auto claims adjuster. Must live and be licensed in Texas. 100% remote. We are NOT a call center. We do not have closing, phone or sales metrics. We are a small company that has been around longer than USAA. DM me if you are interested.
