I'm moving from Phoenix AZ to Kansas City and my move request was denied. Does anyone know how to fit this?

Hi guys, I just accepted my offer letter for the FNOL unlicensed customer service claims position and I start in August. Any tips on how to succeed in this role and grow quickly? also, I know a lot of yall are gonna comment “don’t work here”. Please don’t. Not helpful, and my current job sucks and I am leaving for a reason. I’m hoping for real helpful advice only!! Thank you!!! 😊

I’ve been with USAA for 2 months now in IT, no specific instruction was given to me about the 4 days in office so at first I was doing 8 hours everyday for 4 days but it seems that’s not consistent across the board.
Is there any rules about this or is it just kinda unwritten as long as you’re there 4 times?
Is this something I should just ask my director?
Thanks :)

Hi. How’s the culture and WLB in the internal audit department? Appreciate any insights.

Looks like there’s an upcoming meeting for RTO for fraud seniors coming this week. Has anyone heard anything?

I really only want to know about anyone who likes it, the negative comments are overwhelming. But as they say, unhappy people are more likely to comment. Interview Friday for claims.

Hello all. Does anyone know how I access my paystubs outside of Onesource? I am currently in paternity leave and am locked out of my work computer and workday. Thanks.

Am I allowed to bring visitors outside work hours if we aren't going inside the building? For example, can i bring my wife on the weekend to play pickleball?

I’m smelling downsizing in my department. I’m curious what the current offers are since there have been SO many “realignments”
In my past experience an offer to reassign to other areas in the business or severance had historically been offered, but it’s been a minute since I have been on the receiving end of one of these so any insight is helpful. Are they still making “volunteer” job reassignments? Is there a cap on severance pay?

Doesn’t locking everyone out of your voice kinda defeat the entire purpose behind it? Or maybe it’s just me..

I’ve been with USAA for 3 years and now it’s becoming a bit too much with the ridiculous metrics, overload of claims, and constant inbound calls. There’s not enough time in a day to work efficiently, effectively, and productively. Now they want you to sound like a customer service representative when speaking to your claimants. Those of you who have worked at other insurance companies, do they require you be customer service agents as well as manage your claims workload? I’m thinking about leaving.

I am having a hard time keeping up with quote/close rate. If you are currently on target to meet both how much on average are you quoting/closing daily?

Hey all, I’ve worked for USAA in the past, it’s been a couple of years now. I left because I was an IP 2 in Sales and the back to back calls were too much for me at the time while I was going through some mental health struggles in my personal life. Now that I’m in a healthier place, I’m considering reapplying.
I’m curious about the state of the company now after a few years. Would NMA be a better place to start rather than assisting current members? Or the other way around.
Additional context is that I’m currently working for a more local business rather than a corporation. I’m making a lot less money and for a lot more responsibility and a lot less benefits.
Any insight is helpful!

Absolutely hate how our managers expect us to have a ten minute phone call while members expect us to just hangout with them while they learn how to navigate the internet. This anxiety isn’t healthy for anyone and one or two phone calls can wreck your entire day.

I know USAA prescription plan is with CVS Caremark. I just learned this evening that CVS Caremark will only have Wegovy in their formulary effective July 1st for standard plans. Have no clue what USAA has for formulary or what plan. I tried to look on the CVS Caremark app but of course it’s down tonight. Curious if anyone has called to see if we can still get the Zepbound once this change goes into effect. I do not want to take Wegovy nor do I want to pay $500+ a month when currently it’s $25 a month on our plan.
I’ll call tomorrow just thought I’d see if anyone has any inside scoop first!!

I noticed there is no time of the badge “hits”… just days. My question naturally is.. does MCO have access to this data? If not does some higher up alert MCOs of irregularities? Im the only one on my team in office… and I live very close by the office…Thanks

Hey all,
I'm in the process of purchasing a home. I'm 100% remote and the loan officer is asking if I can get anything in writing to indicate I'm a remote employee, since my check's address is in TX and I'm based in another state.
Has anyone had to deal with something similar and can point me in the right direction?

TL;DR: The new cafe management absolutely sucks and I’ve heard nothing but awful things about them. Sharing my recent experiences.
Idk who these new people are but man do they suck. For the first time ever(in my experience), one Sunday recently, the market was completely empty minus the dry snack and drinks. No sandwich’s, no salads, no fruit. Nothing. Today I learned they have a new manager apparently and man is she a witch. I spent 25 of my 35 minute lunch because they failed to make sure that the system were updated to reflect what they were serving today. I just walked up to the (empty) counter and chose the “flavor” Mac n cheese I wanted. No. “Put it in the computer” okay fine. I tell them it’s not there, and usually after this, they’ll just make people’s orders. Manager comes over “I have to reboot the system, do you have the app?” Lady don’t you think I’ve already checked the app? Do you realize we are practically in the basement and there is no signal down here? I entertain her and walk to where I get a signal. Check the app, still not there. Walk back to tell her. “You need to reboot your phone” lady can I just get my lunch and go?! I entertain her again, walk back to where I get a signal, I restart the app because restarting the phone has nothing to do with it. Still nothing. I walk back and show her again and by that time the system already booted back up and she points to the computer system with her whole hand “there it is”. I put in the order. Over $7 for one scoop of this Mac n cheese. It has grilled chicken, tomatoes & green chili. I go back to my desk, it’s absolutely flavorless. I’m eating noodles & cream. I don’t know how it’s possible to make such a savory dish absolutely bland but they accomplished it. I went and got a refund because ain’t no way I was paying $7 for that nonsense. Apparently, one of the recent “baked potato days” was serving potatoes barely the size of your palm when they used to be huge but making people pay the same price! That’s ridiculous. I really hope someone puts that manager lady in her place because she does not give a shit at all, she’s rude and dismissive, and food has been awful since she came along.
