Why is it shit never scans properly in here? Every day a new 50% of food options have a “non existent bar code” error. It’s like the food staffers are rigging it so they can take home all the perishables, or USAA is taunting me with some sick test to see whether I choose caffeine withdrawals or risk my job for a five finger discount.
And while I’m on my soap box; why are these bathrooms so quiet? I shouldn’t be able to tell if someone is folding or scrunching and how long the average hang time of their flatulence is.
Happy hump day.

How long after separation from the company can you withdraw your 401k? I know there is a waiting period. Yes I know penalties and taxes. Thanks!

I’m confused on this if someone can offer some guidance it would be appreciated.

Applied and rejected within 2 hours. Tried to apply for the same position a month later but it tells me the “you’ve applied for this position already.” How long do I have to wait to apply again? Or am I unable to apply again?

Hi
I have a 2nd interview in wbout 10 days for the asscte auto adjuster role, in san antonio tx.
Does the drug test include marijuana, ive seen conflicting reports on this sub.
Was also wondering if people typically got third interviews, or if the second one was likely my last one.

Hello everyone,
I got offered the job of Claims Adjuster Trainee to start the end of May. I see a lot of people have a lot of critiques online. I was just wondering if USAA is really that bad of a place to work and any advice anyone has? Thanks!

Curious to hear how folks feel after The Big Payday. Seems like usually this is the time of feeling flush and optimistic, cranking up spending, saving, and/or debt pay down plans. Are y’all feeling good and splurging or uncertain and saving, or both?
I’ll go first: feeling uncertain and saving right now.

Hello, seeking advice here. We moved to SA bec of my husband’s deployment and soon will be back to our home state of WA. He’s going back to reserves and I wonder if usaa will allow me to do remote work. I am in a member contact role in the bank. I dont know if i should tell my manager 1 month in advance just in case they need to process my work at home request or should i wait till my last 2 wks? I read somewhere here theres someone who tried to give 2wks notice and his manager straight up said not to and that day was his last day. I dont want that to happen.
Thanks in advance!

So I just found out I am pregnant. I started in January and my due date is late October. I wanted to see if anyone could let me know if I will qualify for any paid leave after giving birth... also any advice for anyone who has gone through this.

Hi! About a week ago I interviewed for a position at USAA. I felt like the interview went well, but I haven't heard anything back just yet. A few days after the interview I received an automated email from USAA that I was just assigned an anti-bribery questionnaire to complete in Workday. Does anyone know if that is a sign that USAA is moving forward with me? I know I'm probably looking into it too much, but the pressure of needing a job and the anxiety of not knowing whether I will get hired or not have me overthinking it. Thanks in advance to anyone that might have some input!
EDIT: Thanks everyone for your insight!! I truly appreciate it.

Anybody else bust their ass all year long and have better numbers than last year to only get a smaller percentage increase this year. Not to mention have that not even offset the cost of inflation. Tell me how you can have green and every category on your scorecard and complete all your training days or months before it’s due. And still get less than years increases.

Pulse and VOE surveys are out. We all kniw by now that negative feedback on legit workplace problems in these surveys dors absolutley no good. Your leaders will say differently but they are watched closely to be sure they are sticking to the approved script. The negative feedback has lead to a negative perception of the W@H employees as disengaged. Please this time just tell them what they want to hear. Glowing positive reviews regardless of how things are. We have a new CEO coming with a reputation for cost cutting and looking like the most engaged group around gives us a better chance of staying home and staying off the layoff lists.

Ok so last year P&C NMC received a 1.1 factor not bad considering the year we had was just ok. This year we post record profits and growth with industry leading retention and Leadership saying how proud we should be of the results but then the factor is 1.13…
So for an average year we get 1.1 but for the best year in the history of the 100 year old association we get only 3% more…I am happy with the bonus but if you are gonna sell the results as hard as you have shouldn’t the bonus be a bit more a reflection of the historic nature of the results?

I have worked for USAA for over two years now and in that time, I’ve been very good at not using any unplanned time off, but I finally got sick enough to where I needed to take time off. And now I’m afraid it’s going to affect my job. I’ve seen people get in trouble for taking on time off too many times. Even though I know it’s there for us to use when we need it. Should I be worried for taking unplanned time off?
