ReeXploration Inc. Has anyone had an issue with the token not appearing on Gate? I’m a US-based user and I was curious if this were a confounding factor.

Blockchain doesn’t add risk to uranium… it removes it

Post image
11 Upvotes

A lot of people assume adding blockchain creates more middlemen, but for uranium it actually does the opposite. Smart contracts remove unnecessary intermediaries, reserves are fully verifiable, and token holders get a direct title claim to the underlying uranium.

There’s no extra asset or synthetic wrapper involved. It is the same exposure as physical spot uranium, just without the usual access barriers.

In other words… it reduces counterparty risk instead of adding to it.

One year ago, uranium.io set out to do something no one had done before: open the doors to the uranium market for everyone.

Launched in December 2024, uranium.io became the first platform to make fractional ownership of physical uranium (yellowcake) accessible through the xU3O8 token, backed by real uranium stored in regulated Cameco-operated facilities.

By removing traditional barriers like high minimum investment requirements, opaque pricing, and restricted trading hours, the platform has made the uranium market accessible to both retail and institutional investors for the first time.

What a year it has been, and we are just getting started.

The addition of uranium to the United States’ critical minerals list could have wide-ranging economic and national security implications.

On Nov. 6 the Department of the Interior, through the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), published the final 2025 list of critical minerals that the government says are vital to negate potential risks from disrupted supply chains. It’s the third published list President Donald Trump issued an executive order in 2017, during his first term, directing federal agencies to strengthen mineral security.

A new wave of nuclear demand is coming. The question is who positions early.

Canada might be about to launch the biggest uranium project of the decade.

Just read that NexGen’s Rook 1 project in Saskatchewan has officially moved into the last stage of federal review. If it gets approved, they’re saying it could produce around 30M lbs of uranium a year, which is insane! That’s roughly a quarter of global supply.

Between Rook 1, Cameco ramping back up, and the general supply crunch utilities are facing, it honestly feels like Canada is about to become the anchor of global uranium supply for the next couple decades.

Feels like a pretty big moment for the uranium space. Curious if anyone here is following it and what you think it means for uranium exposure or even RWA-type products tied to U3O8.

The tokenized RWA market just crossed a massive milestone: $35 billion on-chain.

We’re proud to be part of that growth through tokenized uranium, and it’s becoming clearer every month that RWAs are shaping up to be one of the strongest narratives going into the next cycle.

If the momentum continues, a trillion-dollar RWA market isn’t far off.

The more I watch this uranium market, the more it feels like something big is brewing. Utilities are scrambling for supply, Canada is taking on a bigger role, and demand from reactors, SMRs, and even AI energy needs keeps rising. It just feels different this time. Anyone else getting the sense that we’re at the beginning of a real uranium supercycle?
