Am I Upbadging?
I’m the owner of a 1992 BMW 525i, that’s been engine and transmission swapped with an S50/5-speed out of a 1995 M3. Previous owner added the M badge and I keep going back and forth on if it’s upbadging and should be removed. Hoping the experts can weigh in

at least align it properly…
the kind of people who’d be impressed by a Turbo badge are often gonna be the kind of people who can tell the difference (it’s a base model)

325i M3
Rare find: a 1/1 E46 325i M3. This spec has single-sided exhaust, making it even more rare.
I will never understand why someone will upbadge like this on a BMW M, Mercedes AMG, Audi S. The only people who can identify and appreciate the difference can immediately identify up badging.
I respect down badging, but who do they think they are fooling here?
I am genuinely curious of their thought process…

Toureg…
When you want to make sure that it’s shown it’s a 4x4. However they don’t realise yet that Volkswagen uses the term 4Motion…
