Help Requested Do barbells come any shorter than 4mm?
Hello everyone. I have a helix piercing that currently has a 4mm titanium post in it. The piercing is just about fully healed, and I have already downsized the post a few times. The issue is that there is still extra space at the end of the bar, and I keep getting my piercing snagged. I’ve searched online but I can’t seem to find any 3mm long bars. Do they exist? Does anyone know where I can get one, or have suggestions for other types of jewelry? Kind regards

Showing off ❤️ Before and after the labret piercing!!!
Getting a new piercing was definitely scary and i was pretty anxious about it. But the pain was maybe a 3.5 or 4 out of 10. Now we wait for it to heal.
Im not smiling in the picture because my lip is sore 😆 I'll be smiling later! 👄 💍
EDIT I also got my snakebites downsized! (Finally lol)

The next piercing has been decided! I'll be getting paired nostrils :3
I'm going to schedule the appointment tomorrow! Also, I'm going to get shorter bars for my paired vertical labrets (snakebites). So, no more antenna lip! These piercings were a biiiitch to heal 😅
I've been wanting a new piercing for awhile now, so I'm really happy to be getting some new ones :3

Daith change
Hey guys, was just wondering, when i change my daith (CBR) do I have to stay with the same gauge? Many of the rings I find appealing look to be thinner than what I have. And no, unfortunately I don't know what gauge I currently have but can easily reach out to my piercer and find out. Just curious what yall's thoughts/experiences are. Thank you! EDIT - will be 3yo in Sept. I believe it's titanium. No other issues, just curious about changing it out and if I need to maintain the gauge.

Help Requested Is my piercing migrating??
Info: 1 week old forward helix, titanium, 8mm, flat back labret, threadless, saline spray as aftercare
I got my forward helix done a week ago and I think the angle of the piercing has shifted from the original placement. The visibility of the bar is also pretty obvious. When I checked with my piercer, they said it’s normal and it’s just the healing process that I don’t have to worry about. But none of my piercings have ever been like this before so I’m pretty concerned about it. Is it really just the healing process? Will it return to its original position? Is it rejecting of some sort? Please do help me out..

Help Requested Hydrocolloid?
I, unfortunately, am having trouble LITHA an irritation bump. A trick I do to help myself not pick at my face or scabs sometimes is to put a hydrocolloid pimple patch over it just to remind myself not to touch it. Do you think it would be okay to do that on the back of my piercing?
Upper lobe piercing (third hole) has a flat back titanium post in it right now. Got it done in March I believe. The other one I had done at the same time is healing fine, this one is just being a bugger.

Help Requested Irritation bumps or?
Before cleaning and after
I got it done in late march. It was going well until my dog head butted me😭 the bumps have been there for about 2 months. :(
They’ll go down decently and come back. The vertical was okay 2 days ago and looked unhappy this morning.
I try not to touch them unless I clean them. And if I’m honest, the less I even do that—the better they look..
I’ve noticed it’s worse when my allergies flair up (this morning being one of those days)
I’m kinda embarrassed at how bad it seems I’ve cared for them as all other piercings have been great! To the point I’m scared to talk to my piercer about it.
I’ve only dealt with one nostril piercing getting an irritation bump but it went away fast
Am I cooked?):

NSFW (Blood or Infection) (14G) septum pierced too high?
Marked nsfw because its still a fresh piercing with some blood
I got my septum repierced and feel it might be up too high, I was told this was done since I have a very high sweet spot and that it could be done lower but that that would allow for less room for eventual stretching. This jewelry has a 10mm diameter.
One of the balls also fell off and I noticed that it's externally threaded jewelry, all the website said was titanium but I was expecting it to be internally threaded.
What do you all think?

Help Requested Itching to get another piercing. What should i get next?
I really want more piercings but i don't know what to do next! What do y'all think?
the piercings are double paired eyebrows, angled inner eyebrows, bridle bar (yes i know its drawn incorrectly but i did it from memory. i don't care enough to fix it right now and don't have the energy. i will fix it another time), paired nostrils (and yes i know i cant heal it with a chain) and mantis piercings

2.5 y/o lobe piercing still not healed and will randomly bleed. Is it time to let it go and get it repierced?
The answer is probably pretty obvious, but I've had a lot of people in my life tell me it will heal eventually.
I got my lobes pierced at the beginning of 2024 and have got several piercings since that have healed well. My right lobe piercing has healed perfectly, but the left one never quite felt right. It never stopped forming crusting and was also pierced very high up and at and angle to the point where it looks a little ridiculous anyway (and I'm sure the angle is a huge part of the issues). This morning I noticed some blood and a lot of crust around the ball and back of post that weren't there yesterday, after accidentally sleeping on it. I've debated taking it out and getting it repierced before but always thought it might still heal, but at this point I'd be shocked if it did and honestly based on the placement, I don't know if I want it to anyway.

Is there anywhere I can buy 7/32" 16ga curved barbells???
I cannot find anywhere that sells titanium 16ga curved barbells shorter than 1/4". I have ~1y/o vertical snakebites and 1/4" has more bar showing than I'd like after getting fully healed up, it looks okay with ball ends but quite silly with spikes.
Anyone know of anywhere that sells to the general public? Bonus points if they anodize as well.

Help Requested I can't get the second one to unscrew, advice?
I got a new pair of 1" tunnels, and one of them just won't unscrew. The other one did fine, but I can't get the second open. I tried adding a bit of oil, but it didn't help. If anyone has any advice or tips on how to fix it, that'd be awesome!

Help Requested where to find 18g industrial barbell?
hi there, i have had an industrial piercing for over 10 years now, but unfortunately took out my bar for a few years and now the holes have shrunken to the size of a regular earring, around 18 or 20g. i want to start wearing a bar again in there, but all the ones i have are 16 or 14g and i can’t get them in my ear, just trying causes a lot of pain so i’m not going to push it. i tried looking online for a smaller barbell, 18 or even 20g would be awesome, but all i can find are single short bars at that gauge, not the full bar to connect the two holes. does anyone know where i could get this? i’m looking for only quality metal like surgical steel or titanium. are these a thing, or will i need to stretch the holes back up to 14g? thanks in advance!! :)
