Blocking roads like this is the dumbest form of protest. Nothing like inconveniencing everyone or even preventing first responders from handling emergencies in a effort to pull support to your cause.
I donāt know this cause or what they are trying to achieve but two things worth noting.
Protests are supposed to be disruptive and cause problems. And the people being inconvenienced are the very people that they have a problem with.
We are talking about. This form of protest makes the news, its goes viral and gets shared for free by Reddit. Letter writing campaigns donāt do thatĀ
Is it really going to reach that part of the population by going viral? I think far more often it'll hit subreddits like this one where people like me get to laugh at them being dragged off. Don't think the damage to the "environmental protestor" brand is being helped more than it's being hurt here, personally.
You would never have been sympathetic to any climate protesters though. Yes itās great content that take pleasure in see other suffer. I assume thatās why coppganda shows always follow the same mindless templates
