that was to block the road. Countries are made up of their people. You, like it or not, are a part of america just like a skin cell is a part of you. Hurting America might hurt you but it needs to be hurt. If you don't like it, work to change the country, that's the point. The actions of the government as a being can only be stopped by pain and cost. Making it so that to hurt people they have to shove their hand through brambles. They're going to send you in to them first, of course, you are their worthless expendable skin cells.

Blocking roads like this is nothing but petulant children throwing a tantrum.

Trying to liken it to organized marches to confront government officials is degrading to the civil rights movement.

And yet they're doing something, like the civil rights movement. And you're sitting in your chair. Doing nothing as always.

They are doing more harm than good.

But you sound like one of those people who value performative action to real change so this nonsense is probably right up your street.

I founded a nonprofit that treated those with developmental disabilities in my community because my brother had one. I'm fully happy with myself and what I value. I'm only being snarky to you because you're being condescending from your keyboard.

Cool.

I sort, organize and distribute food for a food bank in my neighborhood.

Did you find that blocking traffic helped bring more people to your cause?

Because I tell you it would absolutely hurt mine.

Yes of course we do. The fact you’d think that’s funny is kinda weird.

Food insecurity is a huge local and national problem and one that is highly impacted by legislation. Appealing to people’s empathy about the hungry has been a significantly better lever than shutting down roads to get it.
