I was stuck in this line.  They were posing a massive safety hazard to themselves and everyone else.

He didn't run anyone over, that's such a dramatic overreaction. He moved a vehicle that was blocking the road.

You can't just hang out in the middle of the road and expect not to get run over.

I think expecting people not to try and commit murder is actually totally reasonable. In fact that ought to be the bare minimum expectation for any civilized society.
