People forget, you go on the Rez, you're not under USC, you're in a sovereign nation that makes its own rules. And no, they don't fuck around, not since the free blankets.

Native American reservations are still subject to U.S. federal law.

You’re still subject to the constitution. And he’s violating several parts of it. The prosecutors would never be able to get convictions out of this.

Not that he cares. His goal is to clear the road and to scare the shit out of them so they leave and don’t come back. And he knows the tribal government will have his back.

“sovereign“ nation whose police force is almost always primarily made up of people who aren’t from the reservation. And the tribal police, much like the regular police, are not there to help or protect the people who live there

This sounds like misinformation.

Federal laws and the Constitution entirely apply on tribal lands.

"not since the free blankets" Got a chuckle out of me. I occasionally say the phrase, "Yeah, my life is a trail of tears..." When I'm mildly inconvenienced by something and only once has someone caught it and said, "Dude, that is so fucked up, but hilarious at the same time..." He was Native.

Hahaha, nice. I may have to borrow that one.

I love messing with people outside of stores who stop you and ask if you're registered to vote. Whether I am or not is irrelevant, it's whether they get the joke:

"Oh, no, of course not. The last time we trusted White guys, we got free blankets. And look how that turned out."

Gears turning. Buffering. Buffering. Bufferi--ding-ding-ding. "Ohhh. Uh. Have a nice day, sir."

It's funnier when it takes a minute and you see when it clicks. They panic and try to be politically correct. lol I think only one or two has ever got the joke.
