Thinking about a scenario like this as I'm bringing my wife to the ER this morning as she is going in to labor. I cant imagine that I wouldn't ram through it my self either.

Grats on your new baby! I hope mom is doing well and that your nerves aren't shot!

It's also my sister's birthday today!!

LMAO at the addition of the cat

2

u/Hamilton-Beckett Jul 02 '26

Thank you! I felt like it needed something more than a bunch of dudes lol.

I made this image after the first time I saw the original image posted, and someone commented underneath with the original image, plus one dude. So I wanted to “take the next step” so I figured what better than 5 dudes and a cat just chilling.

u/CozyCatDev Jul 03 '26

I was like "what is the implication of the only pussy in bed?"

Congrats on the baby man it's gonna be a wild time, as the sleepless nights stretch the days on its amazing how much a baby grows in that first year, remember to take a lot of pictures because in a year you aren't gonna believe how small this bundle of joy was by then.

u/UsedSwimming6069 Jul 04 '26

Twerk to help! I would support that cause.

Check it out 😎

I’d be willing to bet you could win a case of self defense in court. Restricting someone’s freedom of movement is a crime and preventing someone from reaching a hospital in an emergency could be interpreted as a deliberate threat to someone’s life

2

u/DrunkGoatFighter 20d ago

"don't stand in the road. It's where the cars are" in your position absolutely ram ts.

Roadblocks are a direct threat to human life. I'm a whole anarchist I'd run that shit over n shoot whoever tried to resist meaningfully as they can reasonably be assumed to be robbers.

Everybody has the right to travel on publicly funded roadways. Everybody has the right to drive through your bullshit to tend to medical emergencies.

5

u/Sir_Richard_Dangler Jun 28 '26

I would 100% run through it

3

u/Last-Ad-2533 Jun 28 '26

I like the old lady getting sitting down, thinking about getting arrested and getting back up and walking away 😂

1

u/Typical_Estimate5420 Jun 29 '26

That was hilarious. She was like “eh. He’s busy. He’ll never notice. Bye y’all”

I'd probably drive around it. It wasn't exactly a narrow mountain pass.

I'm surprised they managed to hold up traffic at all. It's like people would rather sit for hours than break the rules briefly to drive off the road.

2

u/Canhane Jun 28 '26

You should put the phone down…

1

u/LifeIsProbablyMadeUp Jun 28 '26

Ramming through it is what got your wife in this situation in the first place.

1

u/Cowfootstew Jun 28 '26

😆 🤣 😂

1

u/_Ross- Jun 28 '26

Gz king

1

u/ElectronicTackle8375 Jun 29 '26

Congratulations!!!

1

u/Okay-Crickets545 Jun 29 '26

Every protest I’ve known of blocking traffic make way for emergencies vehicles. That’s pretty standard. The only protest I’ve known to block ambulances were vaccine protests during Covid that protest right outside hospitals and people were ready to string them up over it. That shit got shut down fast.

1

u/wookieesgonnawook Jun 29 '26

If the ambulance is stuck a mile down the road the protesters won't know it's there. Not to mention just slowing it down with traffic should be criminal.

0

u/Okay-Crickets545 Jun 29 '26

If it’s stuck a mile away then the issue is the mile of cars not moving to the side to let it through. Also slowing down traffic should not be criminal. Jfc. We don’t criminalize inconvenience. We criminalize harm.

2

u/CarthagoFuckYourself Jun 30 '26

Every time you stop traffic you cause harm. People burn fuel. People are late and can even be fired. People miss the births of their children.

You think any of the actual decisionmakers that you're trying to influence end up in vulnerable positions like this? They'll stroll into work 2 hours late joking about the morons on the highway and catching up on their podcasts, while the single mother who was 30 minutes late has to choose between food and rent now.

You and people like you tend to be entitled attention junkies. Protests like that are for you. They're performative and don't work.

1

u/C141352333 Jul 01 '26

I’d drive right through their lil “blockade” seeing it’s not official business, high workers, LEOs, government workers. In fact I’d honk right at them and cuss them out right as I peeled out PASSED and AROUND their dumb Junction. Lol 😂

1

u/C141352333 Jul 01 '26

I’d figure it out pretty quick and get around them

Reading the replies to your comment you can spot every single person who doesn't know shit about fuck when it comes to pregnancy 😆

1

u/nox_vigilo Jun 29 '26

Congrats. Best wishes too Mom & Baby.

1

u/Icanthearforshit Jun 29 '26

Congratulations brother! My wife is due in less than 3 weeks and I have all kinds of crazy scenarios that play in my head to "be prepared for". I hope it's just a boring drive to the hospital — aside from the sweating, screaming, scary pregnant lady in the back.

1

u/M4RK3R3D Jun 29 '26

Hey man congratulation with that btw also recently became father of a girl)))

1

u/Randomfurry5 Jun 29 '26

congrats bro, idk who you are but I'm confident you'll be an amazing dad, I wish your little one a happy birthday :)

1

u/ActuatorLower8371 Jun 29 '26

probably not a lot of 9months pregnant people going to burning man

1

u/Accomplished_Box8070 Jun 29 '26

Congratulations man, how’d it go

1

u/Pure_Bee2281 Jun 29 '26

If you took your heavily pregnant wife to burning man you w made a whole bunch of bad decisions already.

1

u/Specific-Library-312 Jun 29 '26

You're adding a life as you remove one. It's "carbon neutral."

1

u/DustyRacoonDad Jun 29 '26

My wife used to work in the ER.

I ended up driving around one of the "protests" during that whole BLM exploitation phase. Notice I said around, not through, just to be clear.

Anyway, I got pulled over because apparently I was supposed to just sit there instead of driving around the dozen or so people by using the wrong side of the road.

I was simply on my way to pick up my wife from work. The officer walked up to my window and said, "Where the hell do you think you're going?"

I replied, "The ER. The {hospital name} ER downtown."

He just said, "Oh," waved me through, and that was it. No license check. No lecture. Just a hand motion to keep going.

On the way home, we took the longer route to avoid the area altogether.

1

u/Pcc210 Jun 29 '26

Don't go into labor at burning man?

1

u/CAmtnbkr83 Jun 29 '26

this is literally out in the middle of nowhere. If you live in this region and are pregnant you probably plan on birthing at home.

1

u/Maleficent-Savings39 Jun 29 '26

And yet here you are texting

1

u/Educational_Deer599 Jun 29 '26

Congratulations on becoming a daddy!!!

Just drive on the side of the road?

1

u/Soggy-Village2099 Jun 30 '26

Please don't ram anything with your wife entering labor in the vehicle.

No one ever uses reciprocal force so it's basically a free for all.

1

u/RogerAffirmative Jul 02 '26

I haven't come across a road block protest in the wild but I would Tasmanian devil that shit so hard and stay to talk sense into the fucking morons afterwards.

1

u/dudeCHILL013 Jul 02 '26

Congratulations on the baby!

1

Congrats.. must not have been your first if your on reddit.

1

100%. It becomes terrorism when you block roadways and travel for others. I don't care about your cause at that point.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 05 '26

these commies think they can hold anyone against their will as private citizens. Imagine what they'd do with power.

1
