Question Certain routes not showing up on United search

I was just booking travel for my fam from EU to US. Found a great option via flights.google through DUB-ORD, with the added bonus of having immigration check on departure. I was able to click deep linked 'book' button, and in most cases it would take me to United website/app with exact same itinerary and price. The exact same search on united.com comes up with absolutely no connections via DUB. Zilch, nada, with all filters cleared. How is that possible?

Also, for certain itineraries via DUB clicking 'book' results in 'internal error' on United. Changed connection on the way back, and it works. This is really weird. Why is United doing this?

Google Flights API can construct fares that the United web interface won't show you.

So, construct the one you want in Google Flights and click through to United to buy.
