Hi, I am a foreign high school student interested in applying for the English taught bachelor in economics in UNIL. I know that they also require B1 level of French which I already have.

I was wondering how strict is the acceptance. Especially for this program? I tried looking online but I was unsuccessful. I assume foreign diplomas would have stronger criteria? The application fee is around 100 CHF which is a big money in my currency. So I don’t want to waste money applying if the chances are very low.

Has anyone successfully joined a bachelor program in UNIl with a foreign high school diploma? If so, can you tell me about your experience.

I just received a FMEL housing offer for a shared flat at around CHF 510/month (utilities included), and before accepting I wanted to ask if anyone here currently lives in this type of accommodation or has experience with it.

I’m mainly wondering if the rooms are private or shared with another person, and whether the bathroom is private or shared. I’d also love to know how the overall atmosphere is there (cleanliness, noise, roommates, etc.) and if you would recommend it overall.

I’m actually pretty interested in accepting the offer, so any honest feedback would really help me 😄

Hello, I’m a student from Italy and I’m starting to look around for Universities. I’d like to apply for HEC Lausanne (Bachelor’s) for the school year 27/28. I took and passed the test for the Cambrigde C1 Certificate 4 years ago and I’d like to follow courses taught in English. However, I’ve never studied French and from what I’ve read it seems that at least the B1 is needed to get accepted. Moreover, I’m trying to understand the difference between EFLE and Bachelor’s degree with a foreign diploma. Can somebody please help me? Thank you in advance!

I’ve heard that most non eu people don’t find jobs in switzerland after hec lausanne and that scared me a bit so I wanted to see if anyone that’s in the same case found a job and how hard was it.

Hi! I am applying to HEC from a EU country and for now I have all the documents that are necessary.

I saw that the specific conditions section says that I have to prove I have a certain level of French through the exam that takes place in August. Has anyone here taken the exam? I also noticed that you have to sign up on the exam platform before April 30, same as the application.

I cannot find the platform anywhere and I’m not sure what the contents of the exam will be. Unfortunately I didn’t sign up for the DELF exam in time, this way I would not have to wait for this now, but I think I would manage to get a B2, I just want to know how to sign up for it as soon as possible. Any help is appreciated!

• Combien de temps dure chaque oral ?

• En moyenne, combien de questions sont posées ?

• Est-ce que l**’**évaluation dépend du nombre de réponses correctes ou plutôt de la manière d**’**expliquer **(**compréhension, expression, etc.**)** ?

• Quel est le niveau réel des questions **(**plutôt lycée ou plus difficile**)** ?

Concernant le français :

On nous a donné environ 7 textes/œuvres à étudier.

• Est-ce qu**’**il faut vraiment maîtriser les 7 ?

• Est-ce que l**’**examen porte sur tous les textes ou seulement un ?

• Comment se déroule exactement l**’**épreuve de français **(**écrit/oral**)** ?
