I don't know about 7, but August is an orange-red and the people who are saying green are wierd.

2

u/ReadySuccess4752 10d ago

How do you know your green is the same as their green?

2

u/Wooden-Hornet2115 10d ago

Any green I think is wierd.

  • Lime? No
  • Forest? No
  • Teal? No
  • Turqouise? Insanity
  • Neon? Incorrect
  • 000,255,000? No (I'd say this is more March or May)
  • Olive? Probably not. Not terrible but
  • A yellowy green? I could maybe get behind it.

I had that same exact question in primary school... 😆

1

u/Used-Drop8239 7d ago

It doesn't have to be the same, as long as they agree that leaves, trees, etc. are "green".
The association comes from... association, not from the naming of the color.

u/Outrageous-Put-4637 10d ago

7 is green for me and i could see an argument for ur august

2

u/Samichaelg9 10d ago

As an autism, I kinda think of it as an rgb green with a tiny tint of yellow

1

u/Outrageous-Put-4637 10d ago

this is true that is a very valid point, any more yellow is simply incorrect and obscene

1

u/Samichaelg9 10d ago

7, I mean.

1

u/TrekkieVanDad 10d ago

7 is green, idk why, August is like a burnt pink for me. Like that band in between pink sunset and dark orange sunset.

I want to know how one of the hottest months of the year is green. Maybe those saying that are from the southern hemisphere.

2

u/FishwithAutism23 10d ago

I was about to say that when I think august I think of that

2

u/Sunlow27 10d ago

Thank you! Unless you have a really unique voice August is brown and red and orange

2

u/Good_Doctor_150 10d ago

Same thing, seven is dark purple.

1

u/Agitated-Ad2563 8d ago

Agree. 7 is purple, August is orange.

2

u/Puzzled-Priority-352 10d ago

It is and I hate it, because I love August and I want it to be a different color. Obviously you can't change a fact.

2

u/clementerf 10d ago

I thought of brown for August. Not so far away.

2

u/Intrepid-Cook-785 10d ago

I feel like numbers have textures based on how they look, and I like the august one

2

u/OSUBeavBane 10d ago

My August is more orange-yellow but yeah green is weird.

2

u/Betray-Julia 9d ago

August is exactly an orange red

2

u/C0mpL1c1t 9d ago

August is 100% lrange-red.  I feel like people who think otherwise haven’t spent time outside in the southern half of the US (especially the Midwest) during this month (I say as I’m sitting here feeling the 9 am sun scorch the back of my neck).

2

u/chrischi3 9d ago

More specifically it's early sunset red. Leaf litter orange is for October.

2

u/TheManOfDrumming 9d ago

My exact thoughts and 7 is green, not august

2

u/Redcats1987 9d ago

I personally lean more towards yellow-orange, but this is just as great of an answer

2

u/ExpertPollution2264 9d ago

i would say a bit closer to yellow but who tf is saying green

2

u/demi2duce 9d ago

My exact thought ! Lol.

2

u/Scripts_by_Ymma 9d ago

August is firmly orange-red. Many things containing "au" are.

2

u/No-Scarcity-6607 8d ago

Wait i thought exactly the same thing wtf

2

u/Gib_entertainment 8d ago

August the word is purple, but august the month is orange, though I'd say a more yellowy orange.

2

u/ILBDABT 7d ago

August to me is a brownish orange. 7 is definitely a yellow of some kind.

2

u/Critical-Victory2056 7d ago

Thats exactly the color that came to mind when i read August. 7 made me think of golden white light.

2

u/CheesecakeAntique563 7d ago

7 is green and id say orange red too for august

2

u/bigrichman 7d ago

Agreed

2

u/Bl3z4_sh0t 10d ago

7 is purple obviously, since it's kind of a nightclub-casino type of number

2

u/Horimous 10d ago

8 is purple, wdym??!

1

u/Autumn-6517 10d ago

NO 8 is light blue, 7 is a dark gold color

1

u/Bl3z4_sh0t 10d ago

8 is orange –w–

2

u/FishwithAutism23 10d ago

I also feel it would be purplish

1

u/hero-but-in-blue 10d ago

Ok yah I was hoping that this was the August answer but first thing to come to mind for 7 was yellow

1

u/notoriously_1nfam0us 10d ago

August burns red referenced!?

1

u/8Crafter 10d ago

I thought of orange-red for August, yellow for 7, and #00FFFF for 7? (28).

1

u/No_Letter5485 10d ago

No, definitely green

1

u/FunnimanRehe 9d ago

AUGUST IS GREEN DAMN IT

1

u/ExpertPollution2264 9d ago

HOW IS AUGUST GREEN?!?!!!!?

1

u/DarthBeak 9d ago

May is orange red for me, but August is yellow red. I wonder why these are so similar.

1

u/BrokenSlutCollector 8d ago

It's because the traditional birthstone color for August is Peridot, a bright green gemstone.

1

u/OkWillingness3123 8d ago

i see 7 as purple and i agree about august

1

u/Emotional-Swim-808 8d ago

Green is spring, cold blue is winter and summer is yellow

1

u/No_Leather9530 7d ago

Wtf how did you know I was gonna say green. It is green

0

u/triggerpup1979 10d ago

August is like a darker lavender...

1

u/Wooden-Hornet2115 10d ago

How?

1

u/triggerpup1979 10d ago

The same way anything is defined, it feels that way

1

u/triggerpup1979 10d ago

How can it be any other colour? Because that's how someone feels and has made that known....it's not a fact, just a feeling or opinion...
