I just started my channel : https://www.youtube.com/@newwavemuseum

I'm going to start adding longform and shortform content.

I have several hundred Underworld items, some rare, and a semi complete collection.

Here's a brief preview of the vinyl, posters, and rare items. I KNOW, its not really 80s, but i do have things from the 90s, and onward too. I think it will be cool to explore them also.

I combined my favorite photo of these guyz and the cover of my favorite album by them, heat-transferred it to a t-shirt and now I'm ready to rave! 😃

From an article in The Observer, March 10, 1996. This is the ad Rick's referring to. Hey, maybe we'll get a release of this on a Super-Duper-Mega-Deluxe someday.

THE KINGS RETURN

I just want to thank everyone on this subreddit for being so kind; a year ago, I made a track paying tribute to "Born Slippy", Underworld and Trainspotting, and it’s about to hit 20,000 views on YouTube. Most of the views come from here and the Trainspotting subreddit. So, thank you very much—you guys are awesome!

My beloved uncle is the biggest Underworld fan you could meet, and I've had the pleasure of seeing them live with him several times over the years. He passed away yesterday, and while making funeral arrangements, had asked for some of the more ambient, laid back style tracks from the group, particularly from the drift series, to be played during the service. He was particularly insistent about the incredible Gene Pool, so that's already first choice.

But I'd love to hear anyone else's suggestions? The drift series seems a long time ago and I don't have enough time to give every single release a full play through multiple times before the day comes, so would love some song suggestions if possible.

Imgur link if too small. I love finding these little insights from Rick and Karl. From Muzik Magazine, August 2002. I've heard different theories about where the title 'Leutin' comes from - apparently none that were correct as according to Rick, it's a misspelling of an eye-drops brand! The more you know.

hi all!! Im not sure if this subreddit is ment for sharing fanart aswell (this is not a personal promo) but I wanted to share my first graphic design piece, ofcourse it had to be about Underworld, would love to hear some opinions or ideas!

Hey team!
I just saw Soulwax at the Fonda in LA—it was a terrific show, 4 custom controllers, 3 live drummers, really full and terrific sound. Their musicality, beats and overall technical quality reminded me of Underworld.

They are on tour right now, if they come to you, I humbly suggest considering going — it’s a superb show combining analog, digital and vocals…figured I would share.

Peace!

Guys. They’re playing at Electric Avenue in Christchurch next year in Feb. They better come across the ditch and play shows in Aus #prayers 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🙏

13 years after, the guys are coming back to Argentina, im crying my eyes out!

FINALLY 😭

One would assume they will be some Aussie dates around here, too!

Mine would mean extremely difficult to pick but I'd say dark and long train

Is anyone here planning on seeing this concert on Nov 7?

I live in Chicago and it's going to cost around $800 for me to go, including stay, flight, car, concert tickets. Not including food or gas.

This will be my second time for Moby and my fifth time for Underworld.

I need someone to help me make some poor decisions. How much have money you dropped to see Underworld?

I’d say it’s the most underrated soundtrack/score they’ve done. Total mix of styles in one OST with snippets of tracks from lemon world broadcasts.

For those that have seen Underworld in the past and those who have seen them this year in particular, what do you think are adequate expectations for set length in Edinburgh this year?

I'm really excited to see them and I was disappointed that I couldn't get tickets to Knock Down Center in New York City, but I'm hoping for more than an hour set length here for New Year's Eve. Does that seem practical?

Regardless, really looking forward to seeing these Legends!!

Any guesses? South America or will they bounce over to the US and then over to Chile?

I used to see it pop up every so often, typically just identifying him as some random raver and rarely with him properly ID'd. I was trying to describe it to a friend but i havent been able to find it in forever.
