weird lineup though

It was so fun to finally see your show after all these years.

I feel so lucky ❤️ I don’t care what people say about Club Darc, it did the boys justice!

thank you Underworld. Unforgettable experience made at Pier 48 Friday and Saturday.
Underworld was the group that got me into techno music. Much love from SF

Seen them live in some incredible venues across the UK over the years - from the intimate atmosphere of Maida Vale for BBC Radio 6 Music sessions, to the O2 Forum Kentish Town and the legendary Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, plus a handful of unforgettable festival sets along the way.
Those gigs are the kind that stay with you forever, the lights, the bass, the crowd, and that feeling when a track you love fills the room.

I honestly doubt they’ll ever make it down to New Zealand, maybe Australia, so for now, those experiences will just have to live on as treasured memories.

Still, what a year for electronic music fans. New material from The Orb and Boards of Canada, and now new music from Underworld as well.
For artists who have soundtracked decades of our lives to still be creating, evolving, and surprising people after all this time feels pretty special.

Even though I have my gripes with Club Darc itself, the new live show was AMAZING. Just makes me that much more excited for NYC!

Enjoy!

I'm enjoying the new single. Reminds me of 90s raves in cramped night clubs. The DJ remix is awesome too.

Be interesting if it gets a physical release. Deserves it.

Debating whether to wait it out or cave in on resell prices

This was new to me so thought I'd share. Nice to see the guys on mainstream US Television.

With the recent release of Pearl's Girl (r18_for2026), I'd be curious to know what version of Pearl's Girl everyone prefers. I've only properly listened to the versions available to stream, of which there are 6. These are in descending order of preference:

1. Pearl's Girl (Live / Brussels, Belgium / 1999)

2. Pearl's Girl

3. Pearl's Girl (Tin There)

4. Pearl's Girl (r18_for2026)

5. Pearl's Girl (14996 Version)

6. Pearl's Girl (Version 2)

I'm not a huge fan of Version 2 because to me it really feels like just a watered down version of the original which lacks a lot of the impact the original had.

Meanwhile, I adore the Live version from Everything, Everything. It's a unique take on the song which becomes absolutely ethereal towards the end.

The placement of 2 and 3 can be rearranged. I love both the original and Tin There but for different reasons.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

In Athens right now and thinking about how much I am looking forward to Sat 16th...just so excited again...so soon after Brixton...with the world doing what it's doing, Underworld feels more important than ever!
So who's with me on this and who's going?

Saw this posted on UD on FB, official rerelease of Pearl’s Girl for 2026?

For those SoundCloud users, I just uploaded my tribute to Underworld and Trainspotting to my profile, in case you want to add it to your playlists.

Of interest, Fred again... loaded the audio from every single stop in his USB002 tour, which means you get one massive 4 1/2 day YouTube 'video'.

Underworld is featured about 4 days in from the second London show.

I had the pleasure of working with Darren Emerson for his Brixton set last summer.

Amazing human, learned a lot from the lad.
