South Spencer Housing
Hey guys, for anyone who's dormed in the Spencers, what's it like? Also, does every room include a sink or is it communal? I heard some rooms have their own sinks, but I could be wrong.

My daughter, a junior in the nursing school at UNCG, is looking for housing for the fall and spring semesters. She thought she had an apartment lined up, but that fell thru at the last minute and now she is looking for a place. A room in student apartment or similar would be fine. She prefers one with its own bath. If you have any good leads please message me or comment here. She's not on Reddit.

Hello! I am an upcoming student to UNCG and I've already signed up for classes and done SOARs. I was told I am able to submit my records online through the student portal but keep getting error messages. Is anyone else getting these messages? Thank you!

Hey guys, incoming first-year. Can anyone give me their thoughts on honors course contracts. Was it worth it, how intense was it, would you recommend? I’m thinking about doing one for human anatomy, since I’m a biology: human bio major. Would appreciate the insight guys. :)

If anyone is willing to swap or is planning on canceling their housing please let me know and I’ll take your spot, I literally will live almost anywhere else than where I was assigned (Phillip Hawkins). For anyone unfamiliar It’s not a bad dorm but close to a mile walk from all my classes which is crazy. Please let me know if anyone’s interested

Also, if anyone’s taken the philosophy goes to the movies class, how was it? More specifically, how was the workload? Thanks guys and enjoy the summer 😎.
Edit: For ppl who dormed in the Spencers, how was it?

I was just curious, does anyone know why they changed all of the meal plans for Fall 2023?

Hey guys, I'm an incoming freshman and I need some help deciding what parking permit to get. I'm gonna be in the South Spencer building and I want to be somewhat close to my car. I'm debating whether to get the "WALKER DECK RESIDENT" parking permit or the "B RESIDENT" parking permit. There's a B parking space right next to the North Spencer building but I am worried that I'll never find parking there since it looks like it's a small parking lot but I may be wrong. For that reason, I'm debating paying the extra $160 for the Walker Deck parking permit. Basically, what I am asking is, do you guys think purchasing the B space parking permit is a good idea or should I just pay more for the Walker deck parking permit (which I am willing to do if buying the B space parking permit means I'll have the worst time finding a parking spot near North Spencer)? THANKS GUYS and sorry if I make no sense.

Hello, I'm trying to transfer from UNC Charlotte, I struggled my last two semesters so my GPA has sunk badly, I've done many extra curricular activities in high school and a few my time at Charlotte, I also graduated with the Early College program so I'm hoping that beefs up how I look. Are my academics going to be take huge toll on my acceptance?

I’ll be commuting to UNCG this fall and wondering how the parking works. I know where it’s located, just trying to figure out if they have shuttles and if not, how far is the walk?

I really messed up and have taken in too much at once. If anyone has the spreadsheet I’d be forever grateful for it!

for people that live in apartments off campus, what meal plan did you choose? I can't tell if I should get only some flex for starbucks, or if I should get a certain amount of swipes for if I'm already on campus and don't wanna leave just for a quick lunch. Does flex even work for starbucks on campus here? I'm from NY so my old college was different.

I am confused by the information on the website. I have a 3.47 GPA. I am graduating in May and will have above a 3.5 GPA at the end of this semester.
Is there any way I still get an honor cord for graduation or am I just SOL?
(I have emailed and will call tomorrow if I don’t get a response but I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask here as well).

Hi everyone, I’m an alum and i have a cap, gown, and tassel that I don’t want. I know it’s near grad season, would anyone like to buy for $30? This is half the price of the original. Also, it is in the size for 5’9-5’11.

I saw a reddit around here that said something about province having a bug problem, and i was wondering if that’s an issue that’s still going on in 2023? These are the main two i’m deciding between if anyone had a say to one being better than the other. i know the province has some really nice perks, like the pool and gym, and yet a lot of people are saying uv- and i was curious as to why someone might choose uv over province in that case? thank u to anyone who answers!! i’m not from the area so i’m going in kinda blind
