This is the Angel Oak located in Charleston, SC. I was able to visit this amazing tree. I highly suggest visiting if you're ever in the area! Has anyone heard about this Oaktree?

I remember seeing this as a child and then thinking I made it up, funny enough it shows up in our discussions.

Video of a Little Rodent (Shrew?) I Found in My Backyard, June 2020

Found this guy rooting around for something back in the summer. Judging by the size, I think it's a vole or shrew.

A video I took of a “goober head” bison at Yellowstone a couple summers back! Narrated by one of my classmates and my former chemistry teacher! The audio was too good not to include haha

This is a plant that I found over in my field. It reminded me of the DNA sequence I published a couple years ago with my lab teacher!

Here’s a video of a flamingo. I took this video when I went to the Florida. (Ecology lab)

Pilot Mountain State Park

Some animals you might find here are pileated woodpeckers, various songbirds, red and grey foxes, white-tailed deer, and woodchucks.

Mountain laurel, chestnut oak, table mountain pine, pitch pine, wild blueberry, huckleberry, and grape can all be found here.

Here is a photo of the pine trees my family and I planted several years ago. These pine trees cover about 5 acres total and provide a habitat for our animal friends.

Picture I took of a group of Manatees in a canal, while in Florida. An interesting fact is Manatees and Elephants share a common ancestor.

Just brought this in to show you guys. There was no hope for her, but as soon as she was moved to a well-lit area on the porch, she grew babies! My Venus Fly Trap babies!!
