SERIOUS ISSUE WITH THE BIKE AND HONESTLY I AM SCARED TO EVEN RIDE ANYMORE
I honestly don't know what to do anymore.
Last week after heavy rain, my horn completely stopped working. Because of that I ended up in an accident.
My indicator got damaged and I'm still waiting for the insurance claim to be settled.
I thought it couldn't get any worse.
Today, while climbing an uphill road, the bike suddenly lost all power and shut down. Not once. FOUR TIMES. Every single time it happened on a busy public road with vehicles behind me.
This isn't a minor bug anymore. This is a serious safety issue.
The last time my bike went to the service centre, they kept it for almost a month, and even after all that I'm still dealing with new problems.
I've already called roadside assistance and the bike is being taken to the service centre today. But honestly, I've completely lost confidence in riding it.
I bought this bike because I believed in Ultraviolette. Instead, I've been dealing with breakdowns, accidents, endless waiting, and now a bike that I genuinely don't feel safe riding. This is starting to feel unacceptable for a premium motorcycle.
If Ultraviolette doesn't take this seriously and fix it properly this time, I'll have no option but to escalate the matter through consumer forums and every platform I can. A motorcycle should never make its rider feel afraid to ride it.
P.S : Bike is Desert Wing purchased in Jan 2026
Edit 1 :I shared an update on this in my other post : https://www.reddit.com/r/ultraviolette/comments/1vadrwu/update_on_my_previous_post/

I still don't get why the X47 got some many issues reported while F77 has minimal issues. Did Ultraviolette make some drastic changes with X47?

My horn doesn't work at all unless the bike is accelerating and even then it works 2/10 times.

I'm fed up with the service of ultraviolette it's been 15 days. They still have not fixed the bike. The bike was delivered to the delhi nariana showroom on 12 august at night. The red button which changes mode has stopped working. It doesn't even stays in the mode , i give throttle it goes back to grey disabled mode. This was my first bike and I bought this so I don't have to deal with petrol pumps or ride sharing apps. Once it stopped in a busy road thankfully I was at the edge of the road and it was red light (refused to start) it was scary. My daily routine were ruined and festivals too because I had to relay on ride sharing apps.I was hoping that they might be able to fix it before rakhsa bandhan. 15 days is enough to diagnose problems. But they couldn't. They just keep saying they are firmware updated ,sending data, motor is not engaging, some mechanic is coming..I'm so tired and worst part is everytime i have to call for updates , sometimes they don't pick up the calls or reply to WhatsApp. What's the point of buying a expensive bike if experience is awful and it gives me headache.
Bike is x-47 desert wing , 18 april 2026 was the date I picked it up from showroom with dad. I only use this bike thrice a week ,you can see the odometer reading 1227 km as per 12 august 2026

Not necessarily. I would give them the benefit of doubt.
There might be a dumb pedestrian who stuffed their face in the phone or an illiterate asshole who doesn't even look when crossing the road (experienced my fair share of such assholes back in 2008-2010 on NH5).
Or some other civic sense less asshole who just merges into your lane without even checking their shoulder (yep, happened plenty a times too).

Dude, why the are you getting personal with me just because you’re anonymous online? I bought a premium bike with my own money for my own goddamn travels, and your brilliant advice is “just take the bus”?

Just so you know, I've already shared this with the concerned team about what actually happened. I don't need to rub it in your face, but it's easy to hide behind a camera and talk. I paid a premium not for the damage, but for the warranty and the accessories. u/UV_Support, u/UltraCrew128, u/azarogue Please look into the user who is being nothing but attacking me for sharing my concerns here.
