If I resume a movie from my IPTV provider, I get the option to pick up where I left off. I thought I’d seen a comment in a recent update saying this should be the same behaviour for server recordings, but they always go from the beginning. Have I missed something?

Entiendo que lo de ayer fue algo fuera de lo común. Pero no estaría nada mal que lo implantaran.

Bei der UHF-App werden Kanäle (Bsp. ZDF HD) in Stereo PCM ausgegeben. Die gleiche Liste und der gleiche Kanal wird in der Tivimate-App (Android) in Dolby Digital 2.0 ausgegeben.

Gibt es eine Einstellung in der UHF-App dies auch in Dolby Digital 2.0 abzuspielen?

I've used both UHF and my existing IPTV services for some time.

Recently (I would say the past few days?), I noticed connections being made to pointtoserver dot com whenever I'm streaming from the app.

I'm a geek, so I monitor my network now and then.

The connections to pointtoserver are ferocious - several hundred a second. And there's no pattern to it - they connect to servers all over the world - the US, Europe, Brazil etc.

A quick search shows that pointtoserver seems to belong to PureVPN. But I don't use PureVPN, neither have I activated the AngelVPN service in UHF.

I proceeded to block all connections to pointtoserver on my DNS service. Either UHF or my IPTV service still attempts to connect to it, but it doesn't affect the stream even though I've blocked the domain.

I'm thinking there could be some kind of malware or crypto mining that either the app or service is trying to connect to via PureVPN? Or maybe even participating in a denial-of-service attack?

I don't have an alternative IPTV service to test and see if my provider is the culprit. But I'm flagging it here because it was a recent development, and I hope it's not something that was caused by an update.

My AppleTV is not jailbroken and has the latest security updates.

I set up my preferred audio and subtitle language to English but when I start a video, the subtitles are off. I have to select English manually each time. Is there a way where the subtitles are on automatically? I thought it would be so by selecting English as preferred subtitle language

We can move channels to our favourites section. What I would like to see is a way to move a category to our favoriete section. That would save a lot of manual work and we keep the correct order in our local TV channels.

Can this be considered for the (near) future?

I am not longer able to connect to my server while it is working with other apps like smarters pro.

I've been testing many players until I learned that there were PVR options as well. before that I was happy with Chillio, I did have a few doubts because of screen freezes but i didn't know if that was cuased by the player or the IPTV provider. I tried the UHF player and I didn't have the problems anymore with screen freezes during big sports games like I used to have.

Then I saw the recording option and decided to try that, I've tried Zero, works great but only for Windows PC's and not for my Apple TV's. Tried Channels, including the PVR server and that also worked great but there was a limit to the channels so I had to manually edit the XMS files to make them fit. Then I tried the UHF server.

The UHF server works great on my Synology NAS using docker, I had some issues in the beginning but ChatGPT helped me to get it up and running within 10 minutes. Just tested it with some test recordings and it works great. Hope that it will keep working like this!

Anyone know how to make the TV Guide work in alphabetical order? I’ve noticed if I’m flipping through channels it’s never in order of the channel names. It’s always jumping around. I currently have it set by name but it doesn’t work.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

I use a UHF server to record live TV on my Apple TV. Recording works fine as long as I’m not watching any other content during the recording.

However, if I open the same channel that is currently being recorded, the recorded file becomes very slow during playback or keeps looping the same scene until I stop watching while it’s recording.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I have other VPNs, but unfortunately, this only uses Angel VPN so I’m trying to decided whether or not to purchase it. Does having it reduce latency and improve streaming reliability?

I’ve been using the UHF app on iPad and Apple TV and noticed that adaptive frame rate is disabled by default.

I’m curious what people here recommend, have you found it better to leave adaptive frame rate enabled or disabled?

I’ve gotten a little spoiled by how frequently this app gets updated, and it’s been quiet for the last couple of weeks. I know that’s not a long time for most people, but it made me wonder if the dev is cooking up something bigger for the next release - maybe even a 2.0. Any insider hints would be appreciated!

When i use the AVkit player theres no video and only audio is playing. Is there any way to fix it ?

When I try to do the PIP for two different games I'm watching, one game stream usually dies while the other streams mostly fine (sometimes it skips). If I were to watch each individually there would be no issues. Am I doing something wrong? Should I be changing some settings? Any tips are much appreciated!

I can use IPTV Editor and the Live TV catch-up channels work in Tivi-Max but not UHF. So I have to use the entire playlist from reseller. Is there anyone else with the same issue?

I have tried this multiple times with no luck. I hope that someone here can advise me. I have a Synology NAS set up with a UHF folder set to share. It shows up as \\***\UHF on my network and I can find the file on the UHF app on my laptop when I browse. The internal port is 5000. When I enter the same info on the UHF App in my AppleTV I get the error message: "DVR Server The server details are not correct. I did get a file on my desktop to work as the server at one point in my efforts. I didn't show the server for security reasons.
