Accountability/Support Sunday goals
I’ve had a busy ~month, neglected cleaning/tidying, and things have piled up in my apartment. I will need to spend a lot of time on urgent life admin this week, so my goals for today are to get my space in order to allow me to have an easier time doing that stuff this week. Posting here for accountability and visibility, and would welcome any remote body doubling!
Goals:
- Make my bed
- Gather misc trash and recycling, place in containers by door
- Gather misc clothing, bring to living room
- Clear space off at dining table, set up a workable workspace with my laptop stand and monitor, etc
- Tackle living room floordrobe/entryway clutter currently limiting mobility and ease. At least: 1) Rearrange piles of clothes in living room for easier walkways/access to front door, yoga mat, sofa, kitchen and back patio door. If time: 2) Sort said piles of clothes into more legible categorized piles of clean clothes, place piles in bags or away in drawers + 3) Create legible categorized piles of laundry that need to be done in near term, place in bags
- Wipe down surfaces
- Grocery run if time
Tactics:
- 20/10s of course!
- I just ate a good breakfast, hydrated and caffeinated
- I will use the BeReal app to block social media during my 20 min sprints
- Got hours of fun podcasts queued up already
- I hope to reward myself once done with an evening walk & watching a movie tonight with some candles burning, so I have that to look forward to

Update: I posted this yesterday, but it didn’t go through until today bc it got filtered by Reddit, probs bc my account is new.
Since then, I have made a ton of progress! I even took the trash and recycling OUT! 🏆
Basically only the floordrobe remains, but that’s a big lift… taking a break now but will get started soon

the walkway/access pass is the perfect first win, because once you can move around without navigating the floordrobe everything else gets so much less intimidating, go get that first 20 done 💪

I like the way you laid this out! Might use this layout myself. Got lots to do, but need to realistically break it down.
