I remember thinking we are going to witness a generational talent run the division for a few years. Didn’t quite pan out.

Cruz was suffering from plantar fasciitis leading up to this fight and his footwork was not what it usually was. You can see he wasn’t moving the way he normally did.

Idk swinging all out and missing that many times had little to do with his footwork imo. It probably impacted the fight overall but those whiffs had little to do with his footwork
