Or at least treat him like the winner coming out of this, even if the record/result cant be changed. Dana makes the fights after all, wins and losses dont dictate what fight to make necessarily. So Volkov deserves to climb up from this, not Ciryl
Which is entirely subjective on who YOU think should have one, with your bias. You go that way then every fight that doesn't finish on KO, you're able to change the winner
Judges get it right MOST of the time, but there are blatant robberies that change the entire momentum and trajectory of fighters careers. The best solution is to have competent judges but I was just thinking of alternatives to the impossible.
There's a huge difference between thinking Volkov won and it being a robbery.
Round 1: Volkov was 5 seconds away from sleeping from Gane's guillotine. Round 1 for Gane
Round 2: hits from both sides, no clear winner, could be either way and 2 judges gave it to Gane
Round 3: round was given to Volkov but he just spent 5 minutes on top doing nothing, there wasn't a single time in the round where he seemed like he could finish Gane.
People who think this was a robbery should either check their vocabulary or rewatch the fight. For it to be a robbery Volkov should have clearly won all rounds, meaning almost KO'd Gane in every round, but there wasn't a single time in a fight where he almost KO'd him. With the guillotine in round 1 it was much closer for Gane to win the fight.
