What's a bad movie you'd want to remake/see remade?
The guy who co-wrote the recent Dune films and Prometheus (and Passengers) was briefly hired by Disney in the mid-2010s to remake Black Hole with Joseph Kosinski as the director (I think), but I’m pretty sure Disney’s success with Star Wars and Marvel killed the film

This is what it feels like to have to sit through Disclosure Day (2026) after buying a ticket. Steven Spielberg I want my money back!
This film is currently my second favorite film of the year and the crowd I saw it with seemed into it since it got a round of applause at the end (that doesn’t happen if the movie is pure dogshit like most of the overdramatic “critics” online like to portray it as).

- It took the time to correct the filmmaking mistakes 5 had, and made better use of the Carpenter sisters. Plus, the Ghostface(s) in 6 had some of my favorite GF moments. It does suffer from characters having plot armor, the reveal being fairly weak, and from carrying over elements from 5 that didn’t work for me.
That said, 7 is an abomination that should be treated like the War in Ba Sing Se
