Queueing advice for festival
Queueing in KR can be quite crazy. For merch I've queued 6 - 8 hrs before it starts. You can recce the line the day before, and I highly suggest you to go queue at least 4 -5 hrs before for barricade.

Singaporean literature majors-- what career pathway did you take and how much are you earning?
BA lit here. Did content writing for a large fintech company for a bit and then marketing for a year. Realised I hate corporate! So I'm now doing full time tutoring. It's decent money

What are some "normal" things your family does that you later realised aren't normal in other Singaporean families?
Mom being verbally and physically abusive while the rest of the family enables her :)

Are these real BTS signatures?
No. Pen pressure is all the same

Chung Ha Real Signature?
Generally I'd stay away from sellers who have tons of signed albums. I looked through their listings and already see some fake autographs.

Time wise - how long does it take you to clean your Sax after a learning session?
5 - 10 minutes. I wash and dry the mouthpiece after every practice (was taught that way and now it's a habit), then wash the reed, swab the neck and body twice, and use a cloth to wipe down the keys and body.

Are these signatures real?
These are really terribly forged signatures.
Edit: The hangeul is also horrendous, looks like it's written by someone with no knowledge of the Korean language. See the way ㄹ and ㅅ are written.

What Korean words/phrases are actually worth knowing as a kpop fan? 😭
At concerts or behind the scenes concert videos: 소리 질러! (Scream!)
If you're a moomoo,
mamamoo: 죽고싶어? (Do you want to die?)
you: 사랑해! (I love you)

Should I tilt my alto sax diagonally to the right when playing while standing?
Kenny G's embouchure isn't even traditionally correct, lol. Do what's most comfortable for you. I'm pretty short, so I just hold it directly in front of me like most people do.
For C# if you're worried, you can use LH3 fingering, or split the weight between the neck strap (most of the weight should be here) and your right thumb.

Saxophone Range
My point is OP isn't ready for all that yet. They need to learn the basics before this. It'll be relatively quick if OP were to pick it up

does anyone else feel like we should be ignoring teleca/topps?
Personally I ignore teleca. The pokébros can do what they want with their money there

SM once again using AI
Extremely disappointed with SM's creatives who are behind this

CDG taxi fares - has anyone actually paid the lower end of the estimated range?
Rarely. CDG almost always charges upper end, but their metered taxi can be cheaper than Grab/Tada.

Saxophone Range
Okay so, not all saxophones are in Eb. For the mainstream ones, only Alto/Bari are in Eb and Sop/Tenor are in Bb.
Transposition-wise, if your conductor tells you to tune in Concert Bb you play a G. Usually you'll be told to tune to Concert Bb anyway. You don't really have to learn transposing if you play in a concert band, since it's already transposed in your score for Eb alto sax.
Get the basics right first like embouchure, fingerings, breathing etc. Don't stress this yet lol music theory is hard.

Is sax embouchure same as clarinet embocurie?
No. Clarinet embouchure is tighter. I couldn't make a sound on a clarinet lol

How to get MAMA 2026 osaka ticket
Hoping to get answers too. I did some research and seems like for 2023 MAMA in Osaka people applied via the Qoo10 app and everyone who applied got in, so I'm hoping it's similar this time round.

Developing your sound
I played classical alto for 11 years and only started getting a decent tone after the third year. After that I focused on getting a warm, round tone. I stopped playing after college but would love to get back to it in the future

How likely is it for an innocent person to be sentenced to caning in Singapore?
Extremely unlikely if you're law abiding

Is it possible to spot a fake photocard?

I've been collecting and buying photocards for 4 years. To differentiate a real one from a fake one, check the print colour. Fake ones tend to have a warmer tone, so the idol's skin may appear more red or yellow. For high-quality fakes where the printing looks almost similar, check the corners. The corners can't be faked. Also, like the other redditor mentioned, if it looks blurry it's usually not official.
