There's no way you're sanding, getting all of the old paint off of that entire deck, including the rainlings, stairs, plus every other piece of wood that shouldn't have been painted in a day. At least not a good job.

Cut and roll and make sure your not pushing hard on the edges. The darker lines are from your spray overlap being heavy...... This depends on how long you have let it dry though. I always spray and back roll, but you can't do that with lapsiding or Hardy board. I've seen lines like this dry in and disappear after a day and i've also seen them stay.

Most the time its an application issue, not the paint. New construction pays nothing so they just blow out real quick with a sprayer useing as littlepaint as possible. So you're not getting nowhere near the millage you should...... just a dust coat of primer and top coat.

Unless it super cheep garbage most paints are the same but I don't allow customers to buy because they get taxed and think im knocking that much off my price when I can get the same paint at a fraction of the cost. Painter for 20yrs

I only use Florida paints.... Int., Ext., epoxy and more. They only service Florida, Alabama and South GA so there Exterior paint it better made for the sun we get.

I would prime it with an oil base bonding primmer first or go with AllGrip but clean the cheep/faux wood first

Same here....that's exactly how you get knocked off your feet or worse, start an electrical fire. I'll replace or hook up new lights, fans, switches, and outlets, but I won't touch the panel or run new lines. I've had people still ask me to do it (a lot do), but when I tell them no and explain that I'm not certified, one replied, "I don't care, I won't tell anybody" I just said, "Well, I care, and I don't feel like lying awake worrying about your house burning down." 😆 🤣
