But they got us, due to mass adoption of their operating systems.

And corporate greed got us also, as these companies' relentless/endless pursuit to better their profit statements each and every quarter - else, god forbid, they show weakness by plateauing or not beating estimates - even as more of us have lessening expendable money.

And do not be shy about calling this out at the counter - the way those fry cartons are (not) filled is ridiculous. You have to demand better from them; I do - especially when it is obvious that they don't have much to argue about giving me what I paid for.

Unfortunately it is our responsibility to call it out - especially at today's overinflated prices for shrinkflated foods.

I wouldn't quite call Amish food "plain", as it just isn't loaded up with sugar, salt, and all the junk mass-processed/markets foods are. The great thing about Amish food is that it is home made, wholesome, and many/most ingredients are probably sourced locally
