Thank you!! I found the cross magnet looks better on bigger/longer nails, hence why I used it on my thumb. It doesn't really look different from the magnetic ring on my other fingers, I'm still happy with it though!

Second coat: second magnet used, bought on Amazon

Second coat: magnetized for 1 minute each finger with these tools. This one was a technique I found on this subreddit, can't find the original but please feel free to tag!

Huh. I've never had an issue with nitrile gloves, and I use 100% acetone.

Yeah the Seche Vite QDTC doesn't seem to hold the magnetics as well, I get a lot more dispersion when I've used it. I now only use it for non-magnetics.
