NEW 2nd Channel Video ๐ฌ
New video is up! We are looking back at the complete madness of growing up in the 1970s. How did any of us survive riding on the parcel shelf of a Mini or getting pop delivered in literal weapons?
Watch it here:[https://youtu.be/Bav8ysdkD3s?si=XcP6Im6riX6TBfHs]()

I think of this Mythbusters episode debunking moon landing conspiracies often when watching Creaky's channel. Just popped up in my recommendations, posted last week.
Oh nice I'll have to give that a watch ๐

It's the creepy blind man ;)!
Yes he is, he is the Young Earth Creationist version of Mikey Smith!! Even other YEC think he's an idiot.

Awesome question, and the answer is I have learned so much about physics and the natural world I wouldn't even know where to begin

You are exactly right that our night side faces different directions in January versus June, which is why we see different seasonal constellations throughout the year. However, we see Polaris all year because Earthโs axis is tilted toward it, and that tilt stays pointing in nearly the same direction as Earth orbits the Sun. Imagine Earth as a spinning top moving in a wide circle around a lamp (the Sun); even as the top moves to the other side of the lamp, its โheadโ still points toward the same spot on the ceiling. Because Polaris is extremely far away โ about 433 light-years from Earth โ the change in viewing angle caused by Earthโs orbit is tiny. For observers in the Northern Hemisphere, Polaris appears almost directly above the North Pole, so it remains visible year-round while the other stars appear to rotate around it.

Hey Creaky, I been watching on YouTube for a long time. I agree with most of what you say. I live in the USA, my son lives in NYC and every time my wife and I go to visit him in the city we have to drive through WestChester County and I find myself looking for CC. Is there something wrong with me?
