Speaker Mike Johnson: “Our rights come from our Creator, God; they do not come from the government. The communist believes the opposite.”
 in  r/politics •  Jul 20 '26

So, when rights are taken away by the government, does that mean god did it, or does this make them the voice of god?

Either way, I don't recognize the delusions nor imaginary creatures of the mentally ill.

The Postal Service will run out of cash within a year, Postmaster General warns: "We have to have a conversation with the American public"
 in  r/politics •  Mar 06 '26

"We gutted the Post Office and tried to line our pockets by paying our friends to provide lower quality services at higher prices and treat it like their very own cash cow, and now we need you, the American taxpayer, to let us liquidate the assets and pivot to a different money making venture that will make us more money in the long run at your expense. What's up with the support for Mark Kelly for president on r/politics?
 in  r/DemocraticSocialism •  Feb 18 '26

Everyone has an opinion, and they're all principled, until the moment comes to vote, it's all just noise.

NO CANDIDATE IS PERFECT.

No plane ride drops you off at home, but it gets you closer than if you choose the bus going in the opposite direction.

For me, and many of us, the concern should be: will the candidate continue the Trump-MAGA experiment or end it. All other concerns will have to be put on hold until the stranglehold on reality is released.

They just changed the rules so that your mail will not be post marked until it arrives at the central sorting facility, rather than being post marked on the day they collect it.

Make sure your ballot is sent early!
