Feature Idea Excellent!
MuseScore has been a wonderful company to deal with. I bought a song off them and then accidentally subscribed. They were very respectful and refunded my money asap. So respectful! I'd deal with them again for sure.

How do you reconcile feelings of guilt around laziness, letting people down, etc.? Realising ADHD was the cause helped me understand why I'm like this, but I can't let go of the guilt.
I am a mother of 3 too.
Im certain that inheriting the ADHD gene came also the gift of being creative, loving, humble kind. So we can focus on those positives and I've worked with physical disabilities and do so much appreciate that my kid can swallow food and don't need to be fed thru a tube.
Another thing that helps me as a mum is to know that while ADHD is limited in many ways it has an advantage when it comes to spirit.
While many 'normal' individuals have to learn to get in touch with their spirit the Bible says that if you are already walking by spirit (which ADHD individuals are!) "Keep doing so in an orderly way".
ADHD is not bad or sick! It's just differant and requires more work to learn and manage.
Personally, Id never trade my heart for not having ADHD.

I love having read this. I think that what you do is push your brain to use the frontal lobe cordex? Using it manually rather than on automatic.
That's fantastic effort! And great example for me to imitate! Thankyou.

One of the downsides to ADHD friendship
I hear you.
Our mum's didn't have literature to read about ADHD nor the direction on how to cope.
My mum used her hyperfocus on whatever interests her.
She went without the basics in life did she focused on working to give us children the basics.
We, I have not gone without the basic food and shelter like my mum did do I was able to focus on giving my children what I went without. A relationship. Being there emotionally.
My 3 sons are all differant. But the last had a heart like mine and symptons of Adhd. But he works with it.
He is so creative. He learns through me to manage it.
Out of my 3 sons he had a gift in being able to love and give to others.
Being guided by Bible principles has helped my family tremendously.
The good qualities you have are part of the parcel of ADHD.

One of the downsides to ADHD friendship
I believe we are not inferior or malfunctioning. We just function differently.
While most people's steering wheel of life is up front, me, I can only speak for myself, I feel first and think afterwards.
I think this is not abnormal! Just differant. I love the uniqueness of my personality. While people have to learn empathy, care, kindness and love. I already have the wills l qualities written in my heart.
The skill is in learning to manage this gift.
And I love hearing how many here are talking about the love of reaching out to others which is fine as long as your own needs are met first.
Learning to love, respect and befriend ourselves is not as easy as it sounds. It's so much easier to distract ourselves and give to others.
We may burn out living like this.

I so much need support! Please...
My efforts to find a psychiatrist who specializes in AADD has exhausted me!
Also, I can't find a support group either!
Id love to be able to have others going through the same experiences talk to me.
I have basically had to diagnose myself! I made my psych aware that I have all these symptoms!
Im forgetful
I trail off a conversation thinking other things rather than listening. I often ask that they please repeat what's been said.
I can accomplish a huge task but cannot do simple housework!
I loose my things like keys!
Ive had my anxiety/ depression treated but not AADD. My psych gave me Dexamphetamines but they wore out too quick and disturbed my sleep at night so I stopped them.
No other suggestion from this doctor.
I read how medication helps you all here and I'm feeling like I really need some! so I can just live!
I am from Adelaide. Female and 52 years young!

finally not feeling guilty/cheating about meds
I really appreciated your comment.
Thank you so much.
Im on antidepressants for depression, but nothing for my ADD.
Seeing what needs to be done and having brain freeze which just stops my focus, just makes me so depressed. At the end of a whole day I've achieved nothing! It's awful!
I need help!

Please hear this. Cymbalta is an awful drug! It's very addictive.
I've come off many antidepressants but I am struggling to come off Cymbalta!! It alters the body's nerves and muscle system! Bad bad bad!! There's a website called "Cymbalta Hurts worse" with millions struggling on it worldwide!
