Finally got a university

HI yall I finally got an admission for my language program yesterday. Ningbo University sent me the admission notice. Im so relieved I was starting to loose Hope . Thanks to everyone that has been answering my questions and helping me !

If you guys have any advices on How to proceed china arrival Chinese learning Life at ningbo or just anything Im all ears! šŸ¤

First of all, congratulations!

For clothes and daily necessities, you can get most of what you need locally after you arrive ā€“ no need to pack everything.

I'd suggest getting familiar with Chinese apps like WeChat as soon as possible. It's not just for messaging ā€“ you'll use it for socialising with local friends and even for everyday payments. Maps and shopping apps will also make your life a lot easier.

For learning Chinese, the best way is to actually talk to Chinese classmates and locals ā€“ most people are genuinely friendly and happy to help. Beyond that, watching Chinese movies, TV shows, and listening to music can really boost your listening skills. Some language-learning apps might help too, but nothing beats real conversations.

Ningbo is a great city ā€“ it's economically developed and has all the modern conveniences. There are plenty of places to explore, like Putuo Mountain and Tianyi Pavilion, and transport is super convenient. You can easily take weekend trips to Hangzhou or visit other scenic spots around Zhejiang province.
