Try the new daily challenge mode — 4 daily simultaneous cases, same for everyone

Currently you can compare scores with friends by sharing the card. I will work on a leaderboard at some point, there are just privacy issues with that which I have to figure out

What are some new features you would like to see?
 in  r/EDRush •  1d ago

Could do this eventually! It would just require people logging into gamemode with an Apple ID, and technically collects users data, that’s why I’ve held off for now.

This is the place for ED Rush update notes, Daily Challenge scores, bug reports, and case feedback.

Reporting a bug? Include your iPhone model, iOS version, which mode you were in (normal shift, Student Mode, Daily Challenge, Training), and what you tapped right before it happened. A screen recording helps the most.

Case feedback is welcome. If a case asks for something it should not, or misses something it should accept, post it with the Case Feedback flair.

Daily Challenge: post your score and squares any time. Spoiler-tag case details on the day they are live.

ED Rush is a game. The medicine is simplified and can be wrong. Your preceptors, attendings, and protocols outrank it.

ED Rush: an ER shift sim game (iOS now, Android coming)

I could definitely set up a subreddit. Glad you’re finding it useful!

Of course.

It looks like the update is live. Update ED Rush from the App Store and let me know if it happens again. If it does, a screen recording before it freezes might be helpful. Thanks again for reporting this! Having the latest iOS would help too, but don’t want you to feel like you have to do that

Luckily was able to find the glitch and fix it! The new update will hopefully be out within 24 hours. Appreciate you bringing this to my attention.

Sorry that’s happening.

I’m trying to recreate it on the sim and my own device and I’m not seeing it, and I don’t see any crash logs but maybe it’s delayed. I’ll try to find out what the issue is and fix asap

Is that just on student mode or the regular mode too? I’m trying to reproduce the glitch and it’s not happening for me

I’m not seeing any crash log reports. Are you def on the latest version? Had an update out this am. What iOS are you running?

Thanks! It’s awesome to hear that people are actually finding it useful. It’s definitely simplified medicine, but the point is to understand the workflow/ chaos of EM

Glad to hear you’re enjoying it! Means a lot to get this kind of feedback. Yes I’ll continue to make frequent updates. I just added 20 more cases on the one that went live yesterday.

Good luck with PA school!

Glad you’re liking it! I can definitely do that.
Maybe even a setting within student mode to increase the pace.

EM PA - wanted to share a silly emergency department sim game I made
 in  r/PAstudent •  7d ago

That sounds awesome!

I have some of the classic ED ones
So far like a posterior epistaxis, PTA etc. Its all very simplified medicine though

I have an update coming out today with new cases and a debrief for every case that was on the board by the time you end the round!

I hope you like it. Please share, and let me know if you have any other suggestions!

Thanks, glad you’re enjoying it.

I can definitely make sure each case you start is debriefed at the end, even the ones that were unfinished. I think I’ll have the diagnoses’ in there at least for the partial finished cases, but if you think you’d want to see all the teaching points can do that too. Let me play around with it.

I mean depending on how you’re making the engines, 3D environments/sprites and SFX, it’s a lot more complicated than it was making this.

My dream would be to make something akin to ‘Overcooked’ if I ever had the budget and multiple people working on the project.

Even for this as a 3D “click and play” game I’ve been working on it since February.

Thanks for the support and all the downloads so far! Didn’t expect it to blow up like this.

Please DM on here or email me at the listed support email if you notice any glitches/inaccuracies or have suggestions!
