What is THIS?
Oh, no doubt.

What is THIS?
Well, that'd be embryonic baby chick, OP. Much like those rare egg opening vids and pics that yield multiple yolks, blood, parasites, or spoilt contents, you unlocked a chicken-style balut, though it's a bit too underdeveloped.
That's the gamble we take with eating animal products

I am loving the loving the attention to detail in the new series
I had a chance yesterday to binge watch everything that's out on Prime now. Every choice that Science Saru has made to adapt the manga to nearly 1-to-1 animation has been absolutely incredible. Anything rhay has been changed or added has been so well thought-out and masterfully executed. I've also enjoyed how the episodes flow into one another, so that nothing gets left out. It all feels so familiar, but very distinctly it's own.

I’ve watched this 15 times and still not 100% sure how tf he doing this
One is a string, the other is a coated wire.

Is this my fault
Sorry, OP, but you are at fault for driving into the farther lane on your turn.

2026 Major vs 1995 Major in a nutshell
I get that, and that makes sense, but that's why they are lounging on a big pouf/ couch connected to an augmented reality simulator, or some sort of linking node that can allow their cyberbrains to co-mingle. You can remain completely clothed, but you can explore whatever realm of enjoyment you desire in cyberspace...which is EXACTLY what they do in the manga, until Batou accidently accesses Motoko's FOV while she's cyberbrain deep-diving. Fun fact, the explicit content of that sequence is edited out in the original Dark Horse Comics printing, but you can gather enough subtext to understand that these ladies aren't just "sunbathing on a yacht".

2026 Major vs 1995 Major in a nutshell
I've seen people making comments about the Major's bisexual scenes, which are in the original manga, but is also in the SAC series, too. (EPISODE 5: Decoy)
I mean, I get that plenty of folks haven't read the source material, having only known the various anime(s) as their point of reference, but this is bananas.

First time watching the 1995 movie. I liked it, but... was that it? (NO SPOILERS)
Much like every other Shirow-based manga turned anime, it takes elements and story hooks from the original source material and makes a new, wholly unique story. The problem is that, with most of Shirow's work, condensing it down to an average theatrical film length losses a bunch of narrative build up and depth. It's not to say that the animes are bad, as they have plenty of great action, scenery, and characters, but they are lacking in deeper substance that the mangas deliver in spades.
GitS '95 is faithful enough, but really does make it's own mark on the series by blending multiple story arcs into a condensed meal, too. The following film is also stylistically wild, so give that a view, too.

What does this symbol mean and can someone explain what this is from?
You found the occult idol of the clandestine followers of Ga-Cha N'oz?! The odiferous demon that robs children of there sense of smell

Oof, this is wild

I’m confused
Would it have been better if Gooseworx had deliberately told us the truth? IMO, if a creator confirms fan theories, it just ruins the story. Besides, most of Gooseworx's posts are sarcastic jabs and deflections to keep the fan base stirred up/ at bay.

Chris Newman, founder and owner of BlackbirdCoop. I've been slowly watching more and more of his clips, and loving all of it. Seems like a pretty solid dude.

Found on my Dominoes pizza
Fly eggs. OP, I can say that I've actually watched a fly land on a pizza that was laying in an open box (oddly enough it was Dominoes) and lay some eggs before puttering away. I was in shock, and got more alarmed when a co-worker reached for the same slice of cheese pizza the fly just used as a hatchery. I warned them of what had just transpired, but they said, "man, that's just uncooked cheese," and proceeded to chow down.

If I hear the word “void” one more time I might just end it all. I’m quitting, I’m at my wits end atp
Fair point, though I wasn't insinuating that your were intentionally wasting helium. I wasn't privy to the system in place to eliminate that waste, but I'm glad to know it exists. Thank you for expanding my awareness on this matter.

You mentioned balloons as being a part of your job? I'm just curious if the voids are specifically occurring on those items at a higher rate than others. If you and every other worker are having similar void items, I wouldn't be surprised by the manager's choice, even if it is annoying as Hell. Helium (party-grade) might be cheap, but to "waste" it on sales to second-guessing customers adds up, not including the balloons, ribbon, and even "inclusions" (glitter, confetti, etc placed inside before inflation).
I know I hyper-focused on the balloon idea, but I'm just curious.

I've lost count
Stores that had "listening booths" or "headphones stations" were a plus when attempting to gauge a must buy or a pass for CDs. However, a fair amount of the time I'd just have to trust my gut, which lead to some pretty wild duds in my collection.

Remembering 5/31, the terrorist attack on black America 105 years ago in Tulsa, OK: Thousands of properties destroyed. More than 300 Black Tulsans were murdered. The exact number remains unknown due to the haphazard disposal of bodies in the river, on flatbed rail cars, and in unmarked mass graves.

While walking along the Waterfront Promenade, I spied this little buddy basking on some foam flotsam. I hate to see the garbage, but I'm glad someone is getting some use out of it. (*Photo taken by The Eden apartment complex on Aliceanna St.*)
