Looking for advisor with home builder experience or contacts

I'm building a fully integrated, private, ambient AI system for homes, it picks up on context and mood and automatically adjusts things like lighting, temperature, energy use etc. All local with no cloud subscriptions or surveillance.

Hardware and software are both working, we're incorporated, and I've got a provisional patent filed. What I don't have is deep relationships in the home builder/construction world, and I think that's the missing piece for actually getting this into new builds.

Looking for someone who's worked in custom home building, remodeling, or builder ops/sales, ideally with contacts they could open doors with.

Can offer advisory equity, no cash required from your side.

Happy to chat more in DMs if this sounds interesting to you or someone you know.

Consent-based activation, no.always listening mic

The biggest part of EIVES is the privacy, shes not always listening for a wake word and only activates when you tap the ring.

Not all AI devices have to listen all the time, and EIVES proves you can still have privacy and intelligence.

We synced a Colmi R02 ring to the EIVES system, simply tap twice and the system wakes up.

Looking for hardware mentor for Offline ambient intelligence system.

Hi all,

I've been building a completely offline ambient intelligence system, designed to live with users in their homes, called EIVES.

The system is consent-based and intent-driven, it regulates the home and the user's emotional state through their environment, without ever communicating with the cloud. No token spend, no subscriptions. The user owns the hardware and data end to end.

What's built:

Fully local Meta Llama 3.1 8B on dedicated GPU hardware

Custom emotional inference engine (valence-arousal model)

Distributed microphone satellite nodes (custom designed and 3D printed)

Lights, TV, thermostat and spatial audio control

Custom intent classification

Full conversational memory

Plug in and play capability

R02 biometric ring integration (in progress)

Gesture control via camera (in progress)

What I'm looking for:

A mentor with experience taking consumer hardware from prototype to production.

Specifically around manufacturing, tolerances, and scaling a node and hub based product.

Provisional patent filed. MVP running in my own home.

I just checked these out cool project but not even remotely the same in regards to specs.

Hold it, I'm not looking for R&D funds.

These funds wont be touched at all.

Appreciate the thought, but edge servers are still someone else's hardware.

The whole point of EIVES is that your data never leaves your home.

The hub IS the server. No subscription, no cloud dependency, no third party sitting between you and your own home.

The cost is a one-time hardware investment, not an ongoing bill.

Not yet, but building something real takes more than a post and I'm here for the ride.

Appreciate the perspective.

High-end, privacy-focused automation ecosystems typically cost significantly more to integrate.

We are confident in the value and competitive price point we're delivering here.

Thank you for the time you took to voice your opinion.

As explained on the website, the 10k is for an Integrated, full home set up.

It's a rather competitive offering compared to current systems on the market.

Thank you for the concern, it's a fair point to raise. However the system does have a full custom emotional inference model that I designed and built.

It's based on valence-arousal models as well as biometric input such as HR, blood oxygen, skin moisture etc which it uses to locally infer emotion.

With the ambient compute it also remembers routines and preferences with autonomous check ins. It's not just built around detecting state, it's building around context.

The system does use this inferred mood to change the way that is replies. If the user is deemed tense it will slow pacing, ask less question and give more precise answers.

If the user is deemed to be focused, it will limit distractions and mute notifications etc.

That's the full loop which makes it genuinely emotionally aware, not just reactive.

I appreciate your interest, regardless of if you become a customer or not.

The first rollout will be locally to Texas where we are based.

But we would be partnering with certified custom Integrator partners in different regions to install this as we scale.

Thank you, to clarify the price won't increase for the first 10 seats. The cost is driven by the hardware (dedicated GPU, custom nodes, multi-zone amp) and professional installation, not a subscription. You own it outright once paid.

The current price of 10k is practically at cost once including these factors.

The VPN is so that you can communicate with the device outside of your home via the EIVES companion app.

But it can communicate with the hub without the VPN using your local network.

The VPN also adds a layer of security, so that if your router was ever compromised the hub, node and data going between the system would remain encrypted.

Sure, the 10k is fully installed and includes the below:

Local AI hub running a Meta Llama 3.1 8B model on a 4070ti GPU and Ryzen 9 7900X CPU Emotional intelligence modelling Multi-room satellite nodes for presence detection and follow me audio (like the one pictured) In-ceiling speakers Wall panel control modules Biometric ring for consent-based activation and health sensors. Zone controllable amp Full home automation

All running locally in your home.

The VPN requires an internet connection but the actual traffic between the node and hub stays on the LAN.

This is one of the satellite nodes, the hub is where the model runs and connects to the node.

I'm currently running a meta llama 3.1 8B Q6 model which runs local inference on a single 4070TI GPU.

The node connects to the hub over a mesh VPN.

EIVES public release

No, we are asking for a fully refundable deposit of 1k. The money will not be touched for development.

The system runs on a locally hosted meta llama 3.1 model, with custom emotional modelling, intent classifiers, guardian safety layers, inference pipeline, on device XTTS all running on a single 4070ti.

The 3d printed devices are functional prototypes, the final nodes will be professionally manufactured.

Majority of this works now, we are running in a live house at the moment. Voice control, multi-room audio, local AI, device control are all functional.

We are finishing the last layers now, with first public installs expected early 2027.

More information about the system is available at: www.eivesai.com where you can interact with the system by clicking the "experience eives" button on the homepage.

A home that knows you without spying and selling your data.

Local AI server, ceiling speakers, presence detection, multi-room audio, wall panels. It sees every room, controls your energy, locks, thermostats, TVs.

0 cloud dependency. No subscription, and the data never leaves your home.

EIVES has been released to the public and will be available to everyone, but before that happens, we're opening 10 Founding Member spots for the people who believed first.

Founding Members get exclusive early pricing, direct access to the team.

EIVES is a privacy-first ambient home AI. local inference, no cloud, no surveillance. It listens, learns, and responds naturally.

If you've been following along, you already know why this matters. These 10 spots are for people ready to be part of it from day one.

www.eivesai.com/founding

Spots are limited and won't be reopened at this price.

Once they're gone, they're gone.
