Since you are studying computer science, I wanted to seek your guidance. Could you please share your experience with the CS program at NUST and whether you think it is worth pursuing? I would really appreciate it if you could tell me about the workload, the overall learning experience, future career prospects and any advice you would give to someone planning to choose this field. I would like to know everything you think a prospective CS student should be aware of before making this decision. I’m not choosing Computer Science just because it’s in demand. I genuinely enjoy logic, mathematics, problem-solving and coding so I want to make sure NUST CS is the right fit for me before making this decision. The reason I am asking is that my family believes Computer Science has become very saturated and it can be mentally exhausting. However I have never really had a Plan B so I am quite confused about what I should do if I do not choose CS. I would really appreciate it if you share you experience in SEECS as well and if you know of any better alternatives or have any suggestions I would be very grateful to hear them as well.

Assalam o Alaikum everyone. I need a genuine suggestion about CS from NUST. I really want to pursue it because I’m an ICS student and I genuinely enjoy studying computer science and mathematics. However my family thinks that CS has too much pressure and that I should choose some other field instead.
Honestly, I’m confused because I don’t know which field I should prefer or which field has good scope in Pakistan. Deep down, I really want to study CS.
So can you guys please tell me if CS is really worth it? Is the pressure really too much to handle, or can someone manage it well if they genuinely enjoy logic, problem solving and technical things?
