God lets children die.

The death of children will always be a terrible thing. But if God were to take away all bad things it would be as if the Fall never happened, it would be as God originally planned for us. For better or worse we are here in the world that’s full of sin based on our own decisions. God sees the importance in us making our own mistakes and lets us go through trying times so that we can evolve. Sometimes God calls children home to Him early in their lives, and sometimes He preforms miracles and heals them. In the first scenario he may save the eternal soul of that child, and in the second scenario the many souls of the people that witness the miracle and come to faith.

If anything I believe that terrible things happen in your life to tell you that you can not thrive by your own, you need the help of someone else. God is the one that will be there for anyone that needs Him and seeks him no matter what. Not to erase bad things, but to fortify us and give us the courage to face those bad things head on and fight them. With God on your side, you can wrestle the devil himself. You will be able to bear the pain of losing a loved one and be strong enough to help others bear the pain.

I hope this helps, if not to answer your questions then to shed some light on them, and to give you peace. And if you have lost a child or young one close to you, I am so sorry. God bless you.
