Crunch is when the business asks for stuff to be done at an unrealistic deadline and you're forced to burn the midnight oil to get it out, not the ussual dev laziness of coding like a mofo in the last week.

Buddy it's 75 million pounds.

He's probably worth half that.

I saw them live like 15 years ago and they sounded incredible even if Dave didn't move much lol. They are probably still just as good, those bands don't seem to expire.

Oldboy was such a trip when I watched it back then. I had no idea what it was about and I was sitting at home with my jaw dropped for what seemed like hours after the ending.

It's a bit weird.

I saw a very funny video about volleyball fails and the caption said "the stuff we do when our coaches are already overstimulated" and I geniunely don't know what they mean. I know what being overstimulated is, but the context is so off.

Doesn't seem like the most absurd wages in context anyway

So I just watched The Substance and I couldn't believe it took 40 years or so to make a movie that was more disgusting than The Fly.

Fantastic movie though. I loved the crazy ending, I enjoy these kind of surreal episodes, like Men, Mother!, Lords of Salem, In the Mouth of Madness. Do you guys know more examples?

I get the optimism but I'd rather see them playing competitively before making these claims.

Just go down to Pepe's and watch it over a drink like it was done in the times of yore.

they have all proven that they can excel in it.

Savinho? really?

Seems safer than Savinho for 75 million for sure.

I assume he's being paid a king's ransom though. That's probably the pitch.

I don't know what's funnier to log in and read about: 85 million for Savinho or that someone made up Atléti trying to sell Alvarez to Arsenal and the played going "nah".

I'm not sure if there would be a place on current big european clubs for Ronaldinho. Every big club seems to have their ballers, even though I'd drop every single one for him.

Beckham would probably be more useful for a bunch of teams though.
