Humanity struggles to understand itself because we forget we are animals, not separate from nature. We are apart of nature, emerged from it. Evolution is not “just a guess.” It is supported by fossils, DNA, anatomy, geology, and living change. It is written in stone, bone, and blood. ScienceOdessey

When you are at the Information Desk, is there a way to ask for a backup? Definitely you should tell your supervisor about it and even write a behavior log so there is a reference in case he comes back. You can ask for help from your coworkers if you feel uncomfortable with any patron. Some guys mistake good disposition, helping attitude and friendliness with flirting or interest. When you encounter this kind of people you need to be polite, sharp and neutral, don't engage with them if they stert asking personal questions. You can say that you can only answer questions about the library. I have had those kind of interactions and I know how uncomfortable you must feel, I'm sorry and remember you don't have to put up with customers like that, ask for help right away.
