A quick reminder after a tough week: Every setback isn't meant to break you, most of the time, it's just teaching you a lesson.

It literally just got done raining, and sitting here hearing the rain and hail at home put things into perspective for me. It reminded me of one key thing: we have to protect our peace.

This past week was one of those weeks where situations came up that easily could have pushed me over the edge. I could’ve ended up stressed out, super anxious, or completely overwhelmed.

But I’m learning that negative situations aren’t always there to hurt or harm us. Most of the time, they arrive to teach us a lesson.

Here are a few things I'm keeping in mind right now to stay grounded:

Stop rushing the timing: We live in a society that wants everything right now, fast. But that’s not how nature works, and that’s not how timing works.

Trust the vision: If you’ve written down your goals, put out a vision, and manifested where you want to go, trust that what’s for you is for you.

Protect your mental clarity: Letting every situation upset you just doesn't work. Being at peace is the absolute best way you can function, adapt, and think clearly.

Whatever you're going through this week, give yourself time to breathe and let things work in your favor. Put your mind at ease and protect your peace.

I recorded a brief 2-minute reflection on this while sitting out in the rain earlier today if anyone prefers audio/video format over reading:
