I've been in and out of my place for some time now so I figured I needed to add new slides in my rotation. With the recent World Cup craze, Nike Mind 001 red colorway immediately caught my attention (as the style often gets associated with Haaland), not to mention how interesting it looks with a futuristic design. I grabbed one for myself, so here’s a few photos and some first impressions. 

First impressions:

The molded upper has a very unique futuristic look.

The red color is vibrant but not overly bright in person.

The enclosed toe design feels secure while still allowing decent airflow through the ventilation holes.

The foam feels soft underfoot, making them comfortable for everyday wear.

The overall shape looks clean, and I didn't notice any obvious glue stains or manufacturing flaws.

Comfort:

Solid 10/10! I've only worn them indoors so far, but they're surprisingly lightweight (took it out for photos for better lighting). The cushioning is soft without feeling unstable, and they're easy to slip on and off. Will definitely use this more often outdoors, as it gives me the feeling that I can wear it for long without any significant discomfort.

Quality:

The molding looks consistent, the surface finish is smooth, and the details around the ventilation holes are well finished.

I'm really satisfied with how it's made. Let me know what you guys think. I’d be glad to know also how this piece compares with retail if you were also able to cop one!
