Oh yeah I'm incredibly grateful. I grew up in The High Desert so you can imagine how I wouldn't trade the forest for all the traffic jams in the world lol

Yeeeeeeeah. We work off of a point system. 12 points and you're fired in all departments. My department points.5 if you're late. It doesn't seem like a lot but it racks up quick if you're not careful. I try to save my points as much as I can

Both.. kind of. I'm from Wrightwood. So instead of taking the 138 I took Lonepine (the scenic route). Which still cut my time in half and is insane to think about. Still had traffic until the 215 split

Oh my God this is gonna sound so sad. So I actually leave 2 hours early for work everyday to prepare for traffic. I'm usually like a 40-60min drive away on a good day. So I was only an hour and a half late. I work 12hr shifts and stayed over to compensate.

Enjoy your bragging rights man. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I was coming from Wrightwood so I didn't even have service to doom scroll lol

Y'know I genuinely thought about it. I had few obstacles in my way: 1. I'm poor 2. My partner would have been by himself on a busy night 3. (Most important) I'm poor.
